Final thoughts on ACORN
The best two takes I’ve seen on ACORN are from liberal blogger Kevin Drum, who writes that the lawsuit is dumb, and from conservative columnist Kathleen Parker, who interviewed a former ACORN board member who was ousted. Parker writes:
No one was more delighted by the recent ACORN pimp ‘n’ prostitute hidden-camera sting than Marcel Reid, the former ACORN board member who was booted in summer 2008 when she tried to examine the organization’s books.
“If we’d known all it took was a half-naked 20-year-old, we’d have done this a year and a half ago,” Reid said from the rented desk in a church that she calls her office.

Too toxic for Comrade Tucker to discuss or handle? Let’s pass it on to others for commentary? I have a comment. Comrade Tucker’s “community organizer” president cut his teeth on this corrupt organization. Just like his associations with Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers, and Chicago political thugs Obama and his left wing followers come from a long line of unsavory institutions and characters of corrupt character. ACORN symbolizes what Comrade Tucker’s ideology is all about; create a false image of helping poor people, but support a corrupt agenda by hook-or crook. This is the way of the Democrat Party. This is the way of the Socialist Party. This the way of the Communist Party. And this is the way of organized unions. We now have a Congress and White House in place full of these unsavory characters trying to sell us “reform” health care, government controlled banking, government controlled auto industry, government controlled insurance industry, and government controlled environmental mandates. Up until an hour ago, Cynthia was the number 1 cheerleader for ACORN. Suddenly, ACORN stinks! A few days ago, all those mean meanies were pickin’ on poor little old ACORN, making secret movies of Acornists giving free advice on successfully running a child prostitution ring. Change of subject for all you people who do not like socialism:
WASHINGTON – The House voted overwhelmingly Thursday to eliminate monthly premium increases for millions of Medicare patients next year.
It voted 406 to 18 to send the bill to the Senate, which is expected to act soon. Lawmakers said older Americans shouldn’t have to pay higher Medicare Part B premiums because they are not expected to get a cost of living increase from Social Security.
The vast majority of Medicare recipients already are exempt from Part B premium increases because of a hold-harmless provision that kicks in when there is no increase in Social Security.
Still, several million would face monthly premium increases of $8 to $23, without congressional action. The standard monthly premium is $96.40 this year.

The only people who comment on editorials are people that are incapable of forming their own opinions. This person’s entire job is to be “controversial” so you people will read her column and argue and fight. This so called “journalist” doesn’t care if you agree or disagree.
