Investigators believe the suspect shown robbing a Powder Springs bank is Irango Tate.

A man who got out of prison in January after serving time for an armed robbery conviction is now accused of an armed robbery at a Cobb County bank.

Irungo James Tate, 32, of Mableton, is accused of robbing a PNC bank in Powder Springs at Tategunpoint on Oct. 28, according to Major Matt Boyd with the city’s police department. An arrest warrant has been issued for Tate’s arrest on charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm while committing a crime, according to police.

The only problem is investigators aren’t sure where Tate is, and they’re asking for the public’s help in finding him.

Tate is 6-feet-1, weighs 195 pounds and has brown hair and eyes. He was last seen driving a mid-90’s Honda Accord, possibly with Georgia tag PIK6367. The vehicle has damage to the front and hood, according to police.

Norcross police looking for elderly woman’s family

Norcross police have found a missing woman, but now they need to find out where she belongs.

The woman, approximately 80 years old, was located near Norcross City Hall on Wednesday and told authorities that her name is “Susie Palar.”

She appears to have dementia and is unable to tell officials where she lives, police said.

Anyone with information that can lead to the woman’s family or friends should call 770-448-2111 or local police.

Atlanta police ask for public’s help finding missing woman

An Atlanta woman reported missing late last week has been found, police said.

According to police, Carnetta Craddock was located and is safe, Atlanta Police spokesman Officer John Chafee said Friday morning.

Before being reported missing, she was last seen on Oct. 31, leaving the 1100 block of Smith Street in a Grady Memorial Hospital ambulance after suffering from shortness of breath.
However, no local hospital had an admission record for Craddock, who police said suffers from diminished mental capacity.

Missing Johns Creek man found safe

A Johns Creek man reported missing Sunday night has been found safe.

Robert Larry Massey, 71, was found late Monday sitting in an electric cart at a Walmart on Memorial Drive in DeKalb County, according to Johns Creek police Lt. Chris Byers. Store officials called DeKalb police after recognizing him from an alert that had been sent out.

Massey, who has Alzheimer’s disease, disappeared around 10 p.m. Sunday from his family’s Anclote Drive home.
