A man who got out of prison in January after serving time for an armed robbery conviction is now accused of an armed robbery at a Cobb County bank.
Irungo James Tate, 32, of Mableton, is accused of robbing a PNC bank in Powder Springs at gunpoint on Oct. 28, according to Major Matt Boyd with the city’s police department. An arrest warrant has been issued for Tate’s arrest on charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm while committing a crime, according to police.
The only problem is investigators aren’t sure where Tate is, and they’re asking for the public’s help in finding him.
Tate is 6-feet-1, weighs 195 pounds and has brown hair and eyes. He was last seen driving a mid-90’s Honda Accord, possibly with Georgia tag PIK6367. The vehicle has damage to the front and hood, according to police.
