One person is in custody and three others are wanted in connection with multiple shoplifting incidents across metro Atlanta Saks Fifth Avenue stores, authorities said Tuesday.
Police responded to a shoplifting call on Sept. 14 at Saks Fifth Avenue in Woodstock and video surveillance confirmed that three women entered the store and stole more than $1,500 in merchandise, Woodstock police spokeswoman Brittany Duncan said in a news release.
The women fled the store in a black 2008 Chevrolet Equinox with Georgia license plate number PD15KQ. One of the suspects appeared to be pregnant, Duncan said.
Shawndrea Gay has been identified as one of the women involved and is in custody in Cobb County. Police Tuesday released surveillance images of three other women who are possibly involved in the thefts.
The women may have also robbed the same Saks Fifth Avenue on two other occasions as well as locations in Dawsonville and Gwinnett County, Duncan said.
Anyone with information about the identity of the suspects should contact the Woodstock Police Department at 770-592-6012.
