ESPN’s SEC Network promos posted. What’s your favorite?

ESPN has posted the school-by-school promos for the SEC Network, which will debut in August.

They’re customized for each school, focusing mainly on traditions or an icon, like Bear Bryant for Alabama and Herschel Walker for Georgia. The promos are 41 seconds long, and for the most part, are being received well on social media.

Here’s the promo for Georgia.

You can watch all of them on ESPN’s YouTube page or here.

Let me know what you think.

I guess UK and Vandy have thrown in the towel on football, promoting hoops. What’s up with MSU promoting baseball?

POAD: Glad Georgia is STILL on your mind. Your highlight is a Jasper Sanks ‘fumble’.

Simply the best college football player ever. And when you consider that a running back’s best pro years are his first five seasons, Herschel is greatly underrated as a pro.

Just including NFL and not the USFL, Herschel scored 14 more touchdowns than Earl Campbell. He had 2871 more yards from scrimmage than Campbell, again, just in the NFL.

Herschel also had 5000+ kick return yards, Campbell had zero.

Throw in the USFL, and it’s like comparing a Ferrari to a Ford Festiva.

Campbell was enshrined in Canton in 1991. It’s time to enshrine Herschel into the PRO (not NFL) Football Hall of Fame. He still holds the record for most rushing yards in one season in professional football.
