Murray can now charge for autographs

If all you want for Christmas is Aaron Murray’s autograph, here’s your chance.

For $35.

Murray’s injured knee will keep him from playing against Nebraska in the Gator Bowl, so he has completed his eligibility as a UGA athlete, which means he can now charge for autographs.

Murray, who was selected second-team All-SEC by the AP on Monday, will sign autographs at Georgia Square Mall in Athens, beginning at 1 p.m. on Dec. 14. Tickets, which come with a photo opportunity, will go on sale at 10 a.m., on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Part of the proceeds will go to Extra Special People (ESP), a non-profit that “strives to enhance the lives of children with developmental disabilities and their families by focusing on their abilities,” according to its website.

Murray has signed with Everett Sports Marketing, which has planned numerous events with him, including a youth football camp in Athens scheduled for Feb. 8.

Murray’s Twitter account now reads: “For marketing opportunities please email”

Murray charging for an autograph… f’n hilarious. Someone please remind me why ANYONE would want his autograph? His EGO will probably want a cut of the $35 if anyone is stupid enought to pay.

Some trolls on this site who are really Tech fans posing as Ohio fans will have to google “Troy Smith” to remember who he was.

Maybe Murray will be an All-Pro NFL QB just like Troy Smith.

Oh, wait.

Troy Smith just handed me my frosty at the Wendy’s drive-thru.

Wow…if Murray the Midget can get $35 for his autograph, I wonder much Austin Carta-Samuels (Vandy QB) can get since Vandy kicked the **** out of UGA this year. I would not pay $3 to watch Murray eat a bale of hay. Nebraska will wallop the over-rated Dawgs on Jan. 1. Maybe Murray can sell cotton-candy during the game.

It’s just Miller being Miller in big games. Miller being Miller is his name. That guy is one notch below Reggie Ball. Wait that is an insult to Reggie.

As an inveterate mutt fan hater it is incumbent upon me, in order to maintain that integrity, to point out the inanity of this article. I guess this is what passes as journalism at that school (sic) east of here.

Andy, in case you don’t know, football is a team sport. Ever heard of defense ? So if the offense scores 45, and the defense gives up 50, is the qb at fault ? Using your logic, Peyton Manning should not have been drafted since he didn’t win enough big games.

Your team is nothing but a box score ! Cupcakes for 2 years, then lose to the first decent team you play. Boxscore Buckeyes ! Even if he’s holding a clip board, he’ll be making at least $500,000 per year. Who here on this blog wouldn’t trade places with him ?

You and your team are frauds. BOXSCORE BUCKEYES ! BOXSCORE BUCKEYES !!!!!
