If all you want for Christmas is Aaron Murray’s autograph, here’s your chance.
Murray’s injured knee will keep him from playing against Nebraska in the Gator Bowl, so he has completed his eligibility as a UGA athlete, which means he can now charge for autographs.
Murray, who was selected second-team All-SEC by the AP on Monday, will sign autographs at Georgia Square Mall in Athens, beginning at 1 p.m. on Dec. 14. Tickets, which come with a photo opportunity, will go on sale at 10 a.m., on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Part of the proceeds will go to Extra Special People (ESP), a non-profit that “strives to enhance the lives of children with developmental disabilities and their families by focusing on their abilities,” according to its website.
Murray has signed with Everett Sports Marketing, which has planned numerous events with him, including a youth football camp in Athens scheduled for Feb. 8.
Murray’s Twitter account now reads: “For marketing opportunities please email firstname.lastname@example.org.”
