Auburn’s football hero gets standing O

Life is good for Chris Davis, the instant Auburn football legend.

It was the little-known Davis who miraculously returned a missed field goal attempt 100 yards for a touchdown to topple the Alabama dynasty on Saturday.

Davis has been lauded on Twitter, and everywhere else someone had an opportunity to heap on the praise.

On Monday, Davis returned to his classes at Auburn and was greeted with this:

Geology should be a required course for student athletes. I is potentially embarrassing in polite company to not know the difference between sedentary and sedimentary, ingenious and igneous, and of course Krystal and crystal.

Doubly embarrassing to not know how to spell “it.”

@GMAB – house crumble? Change in power? UA has lost 1 game. 1 game. Hardly a change in power and as long as Saban is there, “the process” will continue. Check Rivals, Scout or (insert whatever recruiting service you like), Alabama football is just fine.

Enjoy your week.

Georgia and Bama fans need to get used to seeing those plays for decades to come. They are iconic, will inflame the passions of Bama, Bulldog and Tiger fans every time they are shown and are appreciated by ALL football fans everywhere. Wow!!!

Comical. If he is tackled white girls would cross the street to avoid him. Typical AU fans.

AU has been the luckyest team on the planet for the last 2 SEC games. Don’t forget they blew an 18 point lead at home to an injury riddled UGA offense.

What ever happened to those top 10 recruiting classes…..if Auburn’s two starting running backs go down, we have 2 more 4* to replace them (true – look it up). UGA is the most “underachieving” program in the nation – other than maybe Michigan.

I am embarrassed to have a senior is taking geology. I sincerely hope that it is an elective.

Your right gator Jim Bob….I still get goose bumps watching Lindsey Scott leave your Florida defense behind and running for a 97 yard touchdown to slap the gators down in 1980 with one minute left to play!
