Muschamp’s days must be numbered

About 10 days ago, Florida AD Jeremy Foley said he was 1,000 percent behind coach Will Muschamp.

I wonder what the percentage is now.

The Gators (4-7) have lost twice since then, an expected loss to South Carolina, and one that leans toward the ridiculous.

Georgia Southern, a team in flux because its moving from the Southern Conference to the Sun Belt at the end of the season, shocked Florida 26-20 on Saturday, but is still the first FCS school to ever defeat Florida.

Muschamp can’t feel so secure right now.

The Gators have lost six straight games. They won’t be going to a bowl for the first time since 1990. At 4-7, this will be their first losing season since 1979.

And if you think Florida fans were hopping mad after losing to Louisville in the Sugar Bowl in January, check them out on Twitter today. They’re so full of venom I can’t put them on here.

I’m all for giving coaches a chance, especially with the injuries that Florida has seen this season, but when you’re Florida, you have to beat programs like Georgia Southern. There’s no reason not to do it.

Foley almost has to give up on Muschamp.

He can’t risk falling farther behind Florida State.

Miami is showing signs of life.

Central Florida is now the best team in the middle of the state.

I expect Muschamp to finish the season and then be fired after next week’s inevitable loss to Florida State.

He’ll make someone an excellent defensive coordinator next fall.

Please….. Georgia Southern is a very good team, Yes they have had their share of hurt players like UF. They are just really hard to stop. Alabama, as everybody knows, was number #1 when GSU played them to the last down two years ago.

why humiliate the seniors more by showing up for FSU. if Foley is behind Muschamp, they can both leave. not recognizing the real problem being the ultra conservative play calling. I thought south Carolina was a great try, but as soon as we got in the RZ, the conservatism reappeared We can use better coaching and recruiting. Wins and Recruits go hand in hand. None of these seniors signed up for this, I can promise you. Vince Lombardi once said that winning is a habit, unfortunately, so is losing. Its time to reboot the team with new coaching I remember the 1979 team and don’t want a repeat of that fiasco ever again!!! Sorry Will, you tried, but you just don’t cut it at the show!!! maybe Bowling Green needs a coach, but you don’t have the stones for big-time SEC football and it shows.

Please youtube D Swope’s run vs Alabama and you can get a taste of what they did to Florida all day yesterday. They also did the same to Georgia last year in Athens. They ran the ball all over the place. I’m sick of people saying they are not any good this year. They had nothing to play for this year but pride. No FCS playoffs No 11th Southern conference championship. This was their bowl game and they showed up and was the better team period>>>> Go Southern…..

The irony is Georgia Southern had 20 scholarship kids out/ hurt and did not play perfect yesterday. Muschamp showed no class never gave Coach Monken and the Eagles credit…. You not a very good leader of men or a representative of Florida… Eagles took the money and RAN….429 yards freshman QB, 6th string fullback… Gators did not loose to the Eagles they lost to the Eagles back ups

Why wait till after Florida State? The Gators should cut their losses now and dump Muschamp this week.

It will not matter, The Dawgs are going to continue the beat down of Tech. Tech offensive style is bad for the offense and defense. The defense is practicing against an antiquated offense that no longer works in football.
