There was a really, really loud pop that sounded like lightning hit something near Sandy Springs. Don’t have a clue if it really did hit something, but it sure sounded like it!

Modest Delays at Hartsfield Jackson Airport my REAR ! I sat on an airplane on the runway for four + hours. The plane was overbooked and contained two screaming toddlers. Ultimately, my flight was cancelled ruining my entire itinerary. Not to mention my luggage was sent to my destination without me with me hoping I get my luggage back today. Modest delays, yeah right, come on. Who fed that line ?

My husband, mom, sister, brother-in law, and I spent 3 hours at the gate in Detroit because we couldn’t fly into ATL. We all live about an hour from Atlanta putting us home about 4am this morning instead of 9 pm Sunday. However, I’d rather be on the ground than in the air during a storm like that.

I,m usually a storm watcher.Not so this time! I got away from the windows! Have never seen lightning like that before. Split a tree across the street,fell on the neighbors house.( 3 inches of rain too.)

The heck with this kind of diarrhea of the mouth. Why are there no opportunities to comment on meaningful stories like the guy locked up in jail for not paying child support on a kid that was not his, see “Court knew man jailed for a year for non-support was not child’s father”. But no, we get to comment on the big bad rain storm. The AJC sucks as a newspaper.

We lost power for about 10 seconds. When my computer rebooted, I noticed that my computer monitor would not power on. So now I have to go out and buy something else. Note: Found out earlier that day that my air conditioner my need to be replaced.
