What would you wait in line overnight to buy?

They’re off and running.

Soon-to-be brides began lining up Thursday afternoon for the annual Filene’s Basement’s “Running of the Brides” dress sale, which is now underway at the Atlanta store.

Scores of women pack the store to pick through more than 2,000 dresses. It can be a madhouse, but apparently worth it to some. (Follow our Twitter feed at #atlfilenes)

But it got us to thinking: What would you wait in line overnight to buy? I’m thinking tickets to a Sade tour or a reunion of Gil Scott-Heron and the Midnight Band. What about you?

A seat to President O-Bama’s EVENTUAL Impeachment Proceedings is what I would wait in line overnight to get.

You were never a O’Bama supporter, you are a bush dummy in disguise. I would wait in line for a set at the conviction trail of Bush/Cheney.

Kay – Since when did the current President become Irish?

Shouldn’t you be standing in line for your “Government Assistance” or something instead of hanging out at the public library computers and causing trouble, Kay?

I wouldn’t camp out for anything! I believe that if you’re meant to get something, then you’ll get it, and if not, then oh well. I would never do what those crazy ladies did!! But, I don’t really care about a wedding dress. I’m not a typical girl, so I don’t understand it.

No need to wait in line Lornas Bridal in Loganville has wedding dresses at great prices. No lines, better service.

Ok, I’m materialistic as the next American so I admit I’d camp out for a flat screen TV for the right price and a luxury (or semi luxury) SUV, if the price is right of course!

Pretty much nothing – My time is worth more to me than concert tickets or discounted wedding dresses.

Is it just me (and my wedding dress was very inexpensive)but the dresses seem cheap to me because everyone is grabing and pulling on them.

This is insane

These women are acting like animals….if you have to push and shove and hit to get a dress to be married in then obviously you can’t afford to get married. You LADIES???????? need some manners and civility.

I remember waiting in line to meet certain authors at a bookstore chain, that no longer exists in Atlanta. But that was inside, and during the day. There was a snack bar, and book exchange area. Everyone was cordial, and treated one another with respect. Camping out, simply to have the chance to “beat others to a bargain”, has no appeal. And I like weekend tent camping!

UGA national championship tickets. Since I know that will never happen, I can mentally spend my money elsewhere and know that I’ll be enjoying sleeping in my own bed.

Please stick to the blog – “The Voice” “Ms. Notre Dame” and supposedly former O’Bama supporter (Obama) by the way – that is for you Ms. Notre Dame when you referred to Kay – she wrote it the way Mr. Former did…NOW

After standing in line ONCE for the “sale of the year” – that seems to now happen monthly…I vowed NEVER AGAIN…to me it isn’t worth it

Have a nice day all

For “The Voice” and others there is a blog going on today in a different section for you to continue to bash the president and it will actually be relevant – in fact “The Voice” you seem to be blogging your disdain there as well as everywhere else. Your voice – your opinion – just irrelevant here.

Take Care
