11 p.m. update: The winning Powerball numbers drawn Wednesday night are: 6, 27, 46, 51, 56; and the Powerball is: 21.
2:45 p.m. update: Georgia Lottery President Margaret DeFrancisco has announced she plans to retire. See latest story.
Previous story: With $320 million you could buy your closest friends a $2.6 million Bugatti Veyron Supersport car, one of the most expensive cars in world, or one of Germany’s $1.4 million Maybach Landaulet sedans, something a little roomier.
Or maybe you’re looking for a bigger place to live. The 35,000-square-foot Fleur de Lys mansion in Beverly Hills is still on the market for $125 million. It’s the most expensive home for sale in the U.S., according to Forbes. Or if you’re looking for something a little smaller and closer to home, former Hawks coach Joe Johnson’s 13,822-square-foot Old Londberry community home in northwest Atlanta is for sale for a mere $4.7 million.
Maybe you’re the Warren Buffett type, whose main goal is not conspicuous consumption, but rather to let your money work for you by investing in stocks and bonds. By the way, Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway stock was selling for around $127,198 a share on Wednesday.
Whatever your plans, you’ll have plenty to work with if you hit Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot. It will be the fourth-largest in Powerball history.
Powerball is played in 42 states, including the District of Columbia. Tickets cost $2 for a single play for one drawing. The drawing is held at 10:59 p.m.

Give 10% to my church.
Give extremely generous donations to Salvation Army, my local library, cancer center in Houston, TX, set up trust funds for my children/grand-children. Get rid of my 18 year old car but buy another one same model. Put in new kitchen in my 50+ year old house. Travel more. Give to my local animal shelter to make it better for the critters who have to go there – pay adoption fee/shots/spaying fee for every dog/cat who comes through. Have a maid once weekly. Give my real thanks to the good Lord who has cared for me here on this earth.

I would tell everyone that I am no longer an ATM machine, and for the rest of my life I would live happily ever after. If only the most wonderful man would enter my life and appreciate me for all of the wonderful things I could possibly do for him and myself. Then I would settle down on a home and finally call it my own. And believe me, I mean “appreciate me”. I would totally give to CHARITY!!!!!

I would give a 10,000 friends the maximum amount allowed by law to give away [$13,000] only if they promise to give the maximum amount to elect Romney. WHY? To help rid ourselves of that demon now in the white house!. if that weren’t enough I would give more to another 10,000 friends. I would give it all if I could. We must save this country. It is dying. We must not let the libertines win. We must win!

The train would be me and Jen Aniston, Elisabeth Shue, Kate Holmes and Pippa.
THEN, I’d put up billboards all over the country, because network telly wouldn’t air my ads, explaining to the mindnumbingly idiotic voters that Obama has as much money as Romney. The difference is
Romney worked for his, Obama got his the Jesse Jackson way, never having had a job…

Call Mitt Romney to find out how to launder the money and not pay taxes. Also I would have him tell me which offshore accounts and IRA’s to put the money in.

I would set up a fully-funded dental/medical clinic in my teaching district that would service all the basic health needs of the community such as hygiene, first aid, physicals, nutrition/weight loss counseling, basic dental care and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries that poor people usually go to emergency rooms for. Our schools could send sick or health-neglected children there during the school day. Poor kids could also get orthodontics there. What amazes me is how few of the ultrarich actually do any of these things when it is just a question of money.
