Simple question. How many are sponsoring activities i.e., reading programs, sports programs, anti-drug initatives etc? I’d venture to say less than 10%. The communities where they live and profit from need their help.

LMAO..
More than you think
The news papers only run stories on black people when “pookie” robs a liquor store
Not when HJ Russel Donates millions to kids for college.
I guess they think donating money to black kids to go to college is not “exciting” enough
compared to the crime on the streets of Atlanta..

H.J. Russell Co has a strong civic legacy from the civil rights era. Russell used their money to help pay the bail of many people arrested for civil disobedience. I am proud and inspired by the success of all of these businesses.
