Love bacon?
Really, really love bacon?
Then this might be the drink for you.
That’s drink.
Jack in the Box, the sometimes out-there burger chain, has come up with a belly-buster idea to cap it’s “Marry Bacon” advertising campaign.
It’s offering a bacon milkshake.
Kind of sidesteps the old bacon burger and a shake idea, doesn’t it?
If you’d even consider consuming a bacon shake, you’re probably not going to worry too much about the nutritional aspect. Still, your cardiologist would want you to know: the 16-ounce shake has 773 calories and 40 grams of fat. The 24-ouncer (hey, why downsize?) weighs in at 1,081 calories and 54 grams of fat.
Huffington Post quotes a Jack in the Box spokesperson saying, “The shake is not listed on our menus in the restaurants, so it’s more of a ’secret item’ that people can order. Each restaurant is getting a very limited quantity, so we don’t know how long they will last.”
The same might be said for those who drink one of these.
By the way, if you get a rave on for a bacon shake, you’ll have to drive to South Carolina. That’s the nearest state with Jack in the Box locations.

Wow – old times! I know there used to be at least one Jack in the Box here in GA. As a kid (we’ll call it 30+ years ago), we would go to one on Canton Road in Marietta.

Discovered and fell in love with them when I lived in Houston. However, a bacon milkshake sounds nasty to me.

I discovered JITB in Houston, too. Discovered real fast how disgusting that chain’s food is.

That figures. Drive over to Gingrich territory to get your bacon milkshake.

“Its” should not have an apostrophe in the sentence: Jack in the Box, the sometimes out-there burger chain, has come up with a belly-buster idea to cap it’s “Marry Bacon” advertising campaign.”
A writer should know better.

Why is this being reported in ATL when even the blog admits to know JNB here?
We need JNB and also Culver’s (Wisconsin). Culver’s butter burger is the best fast food burger ever.
Of course nothing beats a Vortex burger, but then that is not fast food.

One of my regrets in moving from Dallas/Fort Worth to Atlanta was the lack of JITB around here. Come on, guys, let’s build at least one around here.

Jacks used to be here, too. When I first came to Ga. in 1968 I remember them…but they weren’t around long.

When I started having muslim friends (from Bosnia) I realized how bacon-centric fast food has become. The middle east doesn’t know what they’re missing.
