An 80-year-old Illinois man who kept his entire life savings of $13,000 sewn inside the lining of one of his suits lost his small fortune when he donated the garment to Goodwill.
Employees at the charity store are rummaging through their inventory in search of the money, and the daughter of the man, who is remaining anonymous for the time being, has offered a $1,000 reward to whomever might find and return it.
The man desperately needs the savings, as his wife has Stage 4 cancer, according to the report at The Sideshow at Yahoo.com.

Not sure I am buying this one. I may be wrong, but my gut feeling tells me this is an attempt to garner sympathy from others to receive donations. Sorry

It shouldn’t be that hard to spot a suit with $13,000 sewn into the lining. Unless he used large bills the thing would be so bulky anyone wearing it would look like the Michelin Man.
