There’s been a lot of talk lately about the growing income gap in America between the rich and the poor.
Turns out the the gap is larger in Atlanta than in any other big city in America, Reuters reports.
Also making the list is Athens-Clarke County, home of UGA and the Dawgs, which ranked sixth on the list.
Atlanta’s No. 1, followed by New Orleans and Washington, D.C.

The difference between above and below I-20 demonstrates our gap and the political divide within the state. It’s almost like a mini Civil War all over again.

The Bible tells us that the poor will always be amongst us. And we certainly should help those who are truly in need. But a good percentage of the “poor” in this city and this nation are that way due to the bad choices they have made in their lives. It is very sad that hard work and self-reliance is no longer the way most Americans strive to live their lives!

The great divide has been accentuated by illegal aliens. They sneak across the border in large numbers, coming from places of extreme poverty. They generally have few marketable skills and don’t speak the language. They end up taking the lowest paying jobs like mowing lawns, washing dishes and plucking chickens. They have no health insurance so they end up going to the emergency room, and when their frequent babies arrive, we have to pay for them. These statistics show just one more reason why we need a fence on our southern border. Wake up Washington.
Illegal alien labor is cheap only to the employer.

I will look forward to seeing the statistics. Since 2005 when the economy began contracting and northern cities were collapsing several occurences combined to bring catastrophe to Atlanta.
1. A huge amount of poverty ridden, uneducated, crime oriented people came to metro Atlanta from northern areas and Louisiana(70,000 from Katrina 2005).
2. The build up also began in earnest with the unlimited stream of illegals which have now covered every county of our state like locusts inundating our schools and creating unsustainable costs which threaten to collapse many school districts(450,000 estimated by AJC 7./2011)
3. The collapsed housing industry in which metro Atlanta one of most overbuilt in USA (Las Vegas # 1 and Atlanta #2 took away 100,000 jobs alone. With an excess of 15,000,000 empty units nationwide this area will not recover for years. price collapses of 50% common in many areas of Atlanta for homes and more stringent credit conditions mean 95% of applicants turned down for new mortgages
4. A mass exodus has occured of young white 20 somethings college and skilled employees to other parts of nation and even other countries(200 teachers to other countries AJC 8/2011)Graduates flock to pro work areas Austin Texas and Rick Perry dynamic state AJC 9/2011
black assault in Buckhead kills one young white women and injures severely another young white woman 8/2011 AJC. Crime like this should not be tolerated and continues to drive whites from this area.
Combine these trends and you will see the arrow continue to drive down income due to stratification of education , abilty and jobs now available in the lower economic service oriented economy called greater Metro Atlanta.

I’m surprised. I would not be surprised to hear that ATL is near the top, but I wouldn’t expect it to be #1. I would expect that to be New York or LA, where I perceive there to be more extreme wealth. Every big city has some extreme poverty, but the size of the gap is going to be determined by the difference between the lowest poverty and the highest wealth. I thought there were other cities with people much richer than in ATL.

Your smugness knows no bounds, but you are losing your position of white supremacy and, like it or not, your children and grandchildren will be living in a world in which white people are no longer the majority culture. It is not that the rich are getting richer, which they are, but, the fact that the government dole has made the middle class and poor, poorer with the socialist moronic policies and programs! The government programs have caused a drastic loss of middle income families and individuals! More power to the successful, the so called rich, I WANT TO BE IN THAT GROUP ONE DAY!!!

The large income gap is the cause of uneven employment distribution across the metro. South of I-20, good paying jobs are hard to come by and many people don’t have the means to commute without mass transit. Increase mass transit and this will help to reduce the income gap by providing easier access to employment opportunities.
Without income supplements the crime rate in this country would sky rocket. Be glad that there are EBT and social security income because without people would do anything to get food. When someone doesn’t have anything to lose, they don’t care and will do anything to get the necessities.

The statistic is confirmation that America’s capitalist system provides the greatest opportunity on the face of the earth for all of us to become rich [however you define rich]. Money knows no color, social or religious restrictions. There is no guarantee of wealth only the opportunity to acquire it. We have people in our country who are truly unable – due to debilitating physical or mental conditions – to take advantage of this opportunity. To those folks we must continue to extend a helping hand. However, most of the folks – whatever their color, class or social situation – who we are asked to believe are victims because they are not well off financially have decided not to work for it but want it be given to them. A great example of someone who overcame many obstacles to become wealthy is Herman Cain. He is a black man who was born into poverty but who chose to make the commitment and work for years to overcome them is Atlanta Herman Cain. His new book is a great instruction manual on how to overcome adversity and major obstacles in life to get to where you want to be: http://www.amazon.com/This-Herman-Cain-Journey-White/dp/1451666136/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1319722085&sr=1-1 . After Herman is nominated to run for President in the November 2012 election against President Obama the race card will finally be off the table as it should be. At that point the voters of this great country will be able to follow Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision in his ‘I Have A Dream’ speech and judge the two candidates “not on the color of their skin, but on the content of their character.” Herman Cain will make a great President for all of us – rich, poor and in between.

One American tearing down another is what our enemies want to see. Marginalizing minorities and demonizing the poor does not help. So interested to see so many people take shots or make blames at a group of people before knowing all the facts….How many of you actually know at least 1 person who live off welfare, I mean literally live off welfare alone….Don’t worry Ill wait….the answer is no one, because contrary to most people beliefs, there is a cap on how many years you can stay on walfare, and the max you can get is may 700 a month TOPS…Yeah that’s alot of money!!!!. If you see someone living off of funds, they usually have a child support check (which is another subject) or Food stamps which cost a tax payer who makes 25000 a year only $.13 a MONTH (right a dime and 3 pennies)….SO NO ONE LIVES OFF JUST WELFARE!!!!!! If they do, let me know who they are !!!!!!
2 things I want to point out….1. the issue on government assistance only became a big deal after the recession….and the people hit hardest in the recession were MIDDLE CLASS….so this means that these were people who had jobs went to school and was laid off. Yes the people you are helping are now “Shaquna” with 6 kids and 5 different baby daddies! Its Susan who worked at Coke for 10 years, and just has her bachelors and has 2 kids and divorced! 2. Poor people are not necessarily people who DON”T HAVE JOBS…their also people who jobs don’t pay enough for them to survive. Some of our hardest jobs in America are underpaid…. Custodians, customer service positions, fast food positions, maids…the jobs that most Americans pass up because their too GOOD to do that type of work…
So before you make statements and quick to judge people learn your facts…because 3/4th of our population are a paycheck away from being the POOR, BROKE, LAZY people you describe.

Get educated? Lack of motivation? Tell that to my sister who furthered her education and received her Master’s to get ahead in the company where she was employed for 10 years-only to be laid off in August of this year because they downsized. Sadly, there are well educated people out of work now. You have young people fresh out of college unemployed but with debt of student loans. I am all for someone furthering their education, but doing so with this economy is not going to guarantee you a job right now, it will only add to a person’s debt woes.
More and more people who were middle class are finding themselves in the poor category. They used to donate to the needy, but are finding themselves in need now. It isn’t a black or white issue. It saddens me to see the posts on this blog, and it is my prayer that those equating it to being black, on drugs, lazy, etc. I pray you never find yourself without a job or in need of anything.

I do donate to charity…and not for some tax deduction. You apparently have a problem with those of us who are successful enjoying ourselves to the fullest. Life is full of choices, you are what you make of them. Four years ago I had a $300/day cocaine habbit, lost my condo and my job. But I made a choice to stop, like I made a choice to start. Both were choices, one was better that the other. So don’t assume that people who who are ‘better off’ or ‘won life’s lottery’ have always been that way. We made choices to get us where we are, for better or worse.

Thanks for your comment “Do us all a favor and have a seat”. Some people are past ignorant. If my family (whether they were white, black or purple) had wealth and I had a fortunate upbringing, I’m sure I would be financially independent with a great job because of my great education I received. I’m sure I take regular trips to the malls to do my seasonal shopping and I plan my yearly vacations because life has afforded me these things. I’m probably an active participant in the investment industry and my cabinets and fridge are never empty. Pumping gas for me is not an enjoyable experience because, although I can afford the inflated gas prices, I too am responsible with my finances and don’t want to be robbed like the rest of the country BUT I really can afford the damn gas. So IF YOU ARE THIS PERSON AND YOU ARE LOOKING DOWN ON THOSE WHO WERE NOT FORTUNATE AS YOU WERE please do us all a favor and go to the top of your nearest building and jump….please find a really tall building for splash effect! People are so cruel! Why must you assume every homeless, broke, out of work person in Atlanta is BLACK AND LAZY??!?? I don’t understand that at all. It is sickening to me because I AM BLACK AND BROKE. But I also have two degrees! I was raised in poverty…not because my family were lazy black people that wanted goverment assistance…it was because my family picked cotton, worked for low wages without decent education during a time when WHITE people were doing what they are still doing today….UPHOLDING RACISM and PROMOTING ECONOMIC INEQUALITY. Now what if the tables were turned….please people who are taking the time to read my babble…please think with me for a second…what if it was BLACK men that kidnapped an entire country and separated them from their entire CULTURE and for years they suffered enslavement, torture, homocide, degradation, and the rest of the bullsh*t that comes with it….Do you really think WHITE people would be the majority today? Do you really think WHITE people would lead in having more wealth amongst their families? BUT if we take race out of the picture we will realize that many people of many races are very fortunate despite the economic climate. SO INSTEAD OF POINTING TO ONE GROUP OF PEOPLE FOR THEIR LACK OF RESOURCES AND ASSUMING IT IS BECAUSE OF THEIR PERSONAL LIFE CHOICES please stop to think that maybe their circumstances were not as candy-coated as yours. That is why when I hear about crimes against white people I seldom feel any sympathy and I know that it is wrong to feel that way BUT like the many ignorant racist on this board I will chop it to being a BLACK HUMAN!

It really saddens me to read such ignorant, uneducated comments. Firstly, poverty is not a racial issue. I volunteer at a local food bank and I am sure it would surprise many people to find that there is an equal mix of all ethnicities requesting services. In Alpharetta, churches are giving to all families but we have a high ratio of white families that now require help due to job loss. Not everyone who is poor uses drugs and drinks. It is unfortunate that this population of those in need has become the face of porverty. Yes, there are certainly those who could do better and make better choices. But there is a population who is in genuine need. For those of you who hide behind your anonymous blog postings, I truly hope you never have to experience job loss nor bias based on your color. America is a truly great country but it is a sad day when white people turn a blind eye to those other white people who take advantage of systems. It is a sad day when black people turn a blind eye to those other black people who take advantage of sytems. It sad when any race points to another as the problem. It is a human race issue, not a color issue. Laziness and ignorance knows no color boundaries. There are bad people in every race. But bigger than that, there are great people in every race. And it will be a great day when the citizens of Atlanta can come together to address the issues that affect our city, rather than sit and point fingers at each other. If you don’t like something, do something about it. But if you are not contributing to the improvement of society, please keep your racist, ignorant comments to yourself. You are not helping anyone nor proving any level of intelligence by typing them.

When are you ever going to learn that those who have something worked for it while those who wait for a government handout have what they earned. Nothing!
Learn your history. At one time there was something called redlining, a practice of lenders to draw a line around communities whose inhabitants were not qualified for loans. Redlining became illegal and you now sit on the curb wondering why. Tell your community organizers to stop lying to you and you’ll begin to live in the real world.

I bet you had a lot of support and help getting off the powder. I bet you had family rooting for you. I bet you became the Great White Hope of Cocaine Recovery. You had your degree before your cocaine foray, so you just had to stop using- which I am sure was no cake walk to get off from, but
the infrastructure was waiting, pleading, begging you to come in from the cold.
My point is that if you are white in America- no matter how you look you are trusted. Your are given a break. Even blacks are condition to look out for white people no matter what. The service is horrible until a white person shows up, so being white has immaculate advantages in America. It is that song that says that minorities are only trusted when they are in cuffs.
I am sure that you have to work hard. Can you see a black person with a cocaine past showing up at one of those posh offices in Dunwoody for a job? It is a scandal. Channel 11 would come out there to file a report.

I am a single, Black, college educated woman with two children. I am a homeowner and have never been on the public dime. I have worked hard in my career and was at my company for many, many years when a new manager came into our department. The manager, who is Black, harassed me and made my life a living hell at work when I wouldn’t “admire” him. After going to HR, he retaliated and the company did nothing. Now, I have received a layoff notice while he laughs at getting away with harassment.
So, don’t tell me all Blacks should stick together because of skin color. I associate with people of like minds without regard to color, culture or background.

For the most part, people are poor because they refuse to change. If you have a college degree in philosophy and can’t find a job, don’t sit around for 2 years crying about how useless college is. Change your career to something that there’s a need for, that’s what i did. There’s no rule in life that says once you have a degee in something you can’t do something else.
Also, debt or no debt, education is the most important thing any of us can have. It opens up doors to other opportunities when you least expect it.

There are plenty of jobs if you’re in right field. Yes, perhaps if you don’t have education (not necessary 4 year degree, even technical college) there are less jobs that are for unskilled positions. But if you don’t have relevant education (i.e. majoring in English, history, or other crap like that) then you have yourself to blame, not Wall Street. If you’re struggling artist, then it’s your problem. I came to this country 15 years ago as an immigrant (legal mind you), with 2 suitcases. I was able to finish 2 years in technical college, and currently working for company in a position that is usually staffed with someone that has higher degree than mine, but i’m doing just as good a job as they wood. It’s about applying yourself, and making something out of yourself. But if you’d rather spend time staring at TV for half a day, and don’t have any education, and you were born here, which means you had more opportunity than me, the immigrant, then it’s YOUR FAULT for not being able to provide for yourself.

nonsense – That is an interesting observation. And perhaps the only one on the list so far that actually makes sense. If I were to believe everything I’ve read here so far, I would be led to believe that I only got to where I am today (which isn’t very far YET, with the keyword being yet) because I’m white and everything, including my degree from Georgia Tech were handed to me simply because I’m white. That because I’m white, my family obviously benefited from slavery and got all of our money (what money? but all white people have money right?) off the backs of others, which is interesting because most of my family came to America during the War Between the States, got off a boat in New York and were given a gun and a uniform and told to go fight for their country. Oh, and the newest one is that I should go climb to the top floor of the tallest building I can find and jump out. Not sure why, but I’m guessing that will help “Do us all a favor part 2″ find a better job? Maybe? No? My “irrational” comment was directed soley to the people that feel that blacks that are not as fortunate as they are chose to be that way AND do not want a better life because they are lazy! that to me is irrational! Getting a better job will not solve my financial struggles. (well it may help) I make a decent salary but the COST OF LIVING is placing a strain on my income. Who controls the cost to live??? I don’t consider it my “luck” that I have what I have, and none of it was given to me either. I’ve made some poor choices in life, and I’m sure I’ll make plenty more, but I’ve also made some good decisions, and have benefited from those just as I’ve had problems because of the poor decisions I’ve made. I take personal responsibility for where I am today, and I’ll take personal responsibility for where I am tomorrow. No matter where that is. Better or worse, it was my decisions/actions that got me here, and it will be my decisions/actions that get me to where ever I end up. Let me leave you with one bit of history that is not taught in the government schools. (1) It was a Republican, Abe Lincoln who emancipated the slaves 148 years ago. Thousands of blacks have used the 148 years since then to take advantage of their individual worth and become good citizens who contribute to the betterment of mankind. (2) It was the Dixiecrats, splinters of the DEMOCRAT PARTY who championed the separate but equal practices of old. It was the Democrats who fought bitterly against equal rights and integration. It was the Democrats who created the federal plantation to which a majority of blacks are now enslaved. Blacks were conditioned to drink the poison from the welfare cup. To abandon their individualism to the welfare state created by the Democrats. After all these years a majority of blacks still march in lock step with their Democrat masters . She loses her job and ultimately her home. Within 6months she is living below poverty with the aid from the goverment. You tell me if you think Little Ashley’s situation could’ve been prevented by Little Ashley or if there were factors in her past beyond her control. She became a productive member of society, she used her skills and talents to gain meaningful employment. But I wonder if Little Ashley had a well-to-do family (not rich but just average) if her outcome would be the same. The only reason why I never had to stand in a line or enter a shelter is because I have family. That is the only reason. First of all, you cannot buy those items with an EBT card, so STFU please. Secondly, if you are busy paying attention to what form of payment someone else is using and analyzing their purchases, you really need to find something to do with your life. THIRD, if you are in an area where the majority of people are paying with foodstamps/EBT then I’m sorry to reveal this to you, but YOU’RE AS BROKE AS THEY ARE; and have no business trying to look down your nose at someone who is your neighbor. and FOURTH…all you do is show that you yourself have never bought anything requiring what is called a CREDIT CHECK; from a cellphone, to a vehicle. Swiping an EBT card at the car dealership and waving your section 8 voucher will get you nothing but laughed at and a firm escort out of the building. And then to this idiot Quantavius… My sister in law is a tutor, she tutors rich kids who get scholarships. Poor kids have the HARDEST time going to school for free; usually come from a “difficult” background where the parents are less educated, and therefore less knowledgeable about scholarships, tuition costs, grants etc. When they cut the hope loans and raised the GPA the people who benefit are the upper middle class, and upper class parents who have money to spend on tutors for the SAT, ACT, and AP exams. Their kids go to school on scholarship, well deserved, but their family can certainly afford tuition.
Another question is this….how did the illegals get here in the first place? When I was in high school (94-98), Industrious high school kids (like myself) mowed lawns in our suburb communities and made a pretty penny. We worked as dishwashers, made pizzas, worked in foot locker, subway, fast food. Fast Forward to 2008. White suburbanites now pay illegals to mow their lawns, nanny their kids, staff their kitchens, as cheap under the table labor when they are doing their section 8 slumlord thing and taking advantage of targeted real estate fraud designed to keep an area depressed until the gentrification arrives and those “in the know” can flip and make money. Who paid all these illegals? White people! I’m a real estate investor myself; I’ve never gone to home depot and gathered up a crew of illegals, but I have sure seen a MILLION white guys pick up a truckload. Anti-obama sticker in the window, but paying illegals as fast as you can, instead of another American. Then they cry “taxes”……STFU.

This goes out to Ed and all the people who say Abraham lincoln and MLK were republicans, like blacks should owe republicans. I will type this in caps so you idiots understand this.
AFTER AND DURING THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT, RACIST REPUBLICANS WHO WERE AGAINST IT JOINED FORCES WITH THE RACIST DIXIECRATS AND FORMED “THE NEW REPUBLICAN PARTY”; SOLIDIFIED IN 1970 WHEN NIXON USED THE “SOUTHERN STRATEGY” TO UNITE RACIST ELEMENTS IN NORTH AND SOUTH. THAT IS WHEN BLACK PEOPLE AND MINORITIES BEGAN TO MAKE THEIR TRANSITION TO THE DEMOCRATS. Keep bringing up abraham lincoln to black people like we owe abe something. Lincoln cared not ONE IOTA about slavery; slaves were freed to disrupt the southern war effort and the cotton and tobacco trade with England which financed it. Slaves were freed to scare racist coward rebel soldiers into thinking that now that massa isn’t home, the slaves will run wild raping white women and killing old white folks who couldn’t go fight. It had NOTHING to do with SLAVERY itself. ZIP, ZERO. Freedom was a byproduct of the civil war, not the reason as so many whites like to pretend. Isn’t this supposed to be YOUR country? Why don’t you know your own history? Or do you just tell yourselves these lies to make yourselves feel superior; like the word “cracker” has anything to do with a whip or the sound it makes. It means LIAR. Cracker means LIAR.
As early as the 1760s, this term was in use by the upper class planters in the British North American colonies to refer to Scots-Irish and English settlers in the south. The vast majority of whom were descendants of English bond servants. A letter to the Earl of Dartmouth reads:
“I should explain to your Lordship what is meant by Crackers; a name they have got from being great boasters; they are a lawless set of rascalls on the frontiers of Virginia, Maryland, the Carolinas, and Georgia, who often change their places of abode.” That was written in 1760.
Stop trying to rewrite history, your revisionist attempts are futile and only effective on the already stupid and mis-educated.

The solution is not complicated at all.
Stop rich multinationals from shipping all our good jobs overseas and you’ll start to reduce income disparity.
Start making the rich pay their fair share of taxes and you’ll start to reduce income disparity.
To do both of these will require kicking GA’s current senators out of office – at a minimum – they are against both of the above.

Take your complaints to the doors of the Congress, as regards to illegal aliens stealing jobs, by way of collusion of dishonest business owners. Don’t moan about the policies of Sanctuary Cities, Dream Acts or the 6 small amnesties since covertly passed since 1986, unless you are ready to speak up. Then again, if you are incensed about the 20 million foreigners settled in America unlawfully, you can do something now. These migrants and immigrants are depleting the US federal and state treasuries and taxpayers pockets and then make your voice known. Tell the Senators and House Republicans you want Rep. Lamar Smith’s mandatory “Legal Workforce Act as bill H.R. 2885 brought urgently to the House floor. It will reduce illegal immigration nationwide, including your states. Stop the clogged classroom full of children of aliens and sever free health care of these families and empty prisons and jails. The $113 Billion dollars a year, should be going back into your bank account.
ALL AMERICANS AND LEGAL RESIDENTS SHOULD ACQUIRE THEIR CONGRESSIONAL REPRESENTATIVE TO PASS THIS LAW, WHETHER YOU’RE BLACK, WHITE, HISPANIC, ASIAN OR ANY OTHER RACIAL GENDRE. JOIN THE TEA PARTY AND GET THE ‘LEGAL WORKFORCE ACT’ PASSED.
There is no credence in LEGAL IMMIGRANTS being arrested, as this sort of outright lie is generated from the Liberal and Democratic media. Those with a legal right to be here is completely free from any harassment. Any citizen or legal immigrant is welcome to the TEA PARTY membership, no matter the rhetoric and propaganda from the leftist morons.
ELECTED TEA PARTY FRESHMEN WHO DOESN’T VOTE FOR MANDATORY E-VERIFY IS BEING CAREFULLY WATCHED BY THOUSANDS OF TEA PARTY BRANCHES, THROUGHOUT OUR COUNTRY. THEY WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN IN FUTURE ELECTIONS? THEY HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Our freshman Congressman has done nothing so far this year to advance the cause of E-Verify and driving illegal aliens out of U.S. jobs to open them up for unemployed Americans. This fax tries to focus your Congressman on the most important thing he/she can do right now to fight illegal immigration — co-sponsor the Legal Workforce Act (H.R. 2885).
WE NEED YOUR U.S. REP SIGNED ONTO H.R. 2885 THIS WEEK
Millions of patriotic Americans getting this Alert have freshman Representatives who supposedly ran for office to do things differently. Many are members of the TEA PARTY and the TENS OF MILLIONS IN THE TEA PARTY REVOLUTION, must urge these individuals to sign on to H.R. 2885.
But until they sign onto the bill and moved out of Judiciary, there is little chance that the House Republican leaders will bring it to the floor for a vote. That means millions of Americans will stay unemployed instead of having a chance at the jobs that will be opened up when this bill throws millions of illegal aliens out of their construction, manufacturing, transportation, service and hospitality jobs.
You can also send a free fax, by going to NumbersUSA or call 202-224-3121 and ask for your U.S. House Representative’s office to urge action in this next session in Congress. The TEA PARTY will not tolerate Sanctuary cities, Dream Acts, another Amnesty or any Immigration Reform that circumvents the law. As far too long the politicians have placed the interests of illegal aliens before its citizens and permanent residents. In additionally we must harass the both parties to build the REAL 2006 SECURE FENCE, an act already passed with no exceptions.
Entering America unlawfully must be prosecuted as a Felony, as currently it’s not even a Criminal offense. Then we will see some radical changes to this impossible plague.

Oh Please! I’ll have all of you know that I graduated with a degree in Public Relations, but graduated in 2008 so couldn’t find a job. I had to take a minimum wage job watching kids in a daycare. Not my dream job but I did it so that I could live. Furthermore, I went back and got my master’s in education, but because education is being cut in Georgia, I haven’t had any luck finding a job as a teacher either. So before you call anyone “lazy” or accuse someone of being playing the “victim”. Why don’t you look at the person taking care of your kids in daycare? They probably have a degree, can’t find a job and sure as hell don’t want to spend their lives changing diapers all day while not being paid worth a crap. I’ve done everything that was required of me, and I will always work my hardest, whether I’m getting paid minimum wage or salary. I don’t expect a handout and neither do most people. Get off your high horses! Just because someone wants a better quality of life and a livable wage doesn’t mean they want the government to do it for them!

This is so epic; it shows how far we have come as a civilized nation. The United States as it currently stands is very far behind in trying to get people to reason with each other, understand each other and appreciate the essence of living as one race. The two most important words that should be placed upon every individual lips should be the words:
Communication and Compromise
Not the words, Blacks, Whites, Mexicans or whatever race. Creating harmony for all should be the most important thing in this world today. For all the racial comments that exist in people who are in fact truly racist, you can only pray for them as they will surely have their day. People are born every day and people die every day, your day will surely come. There is no if’s and buts’ about it, it happens, there is no way around that. I would just like to know one thing, why these individuals think that the United States was meant solely for them. That tells me that these individuals lack something in the brain. How any normal person who is white would could claim the United States as their original home. They were sent here as outcasts from England (criminals; as a matter of fact very bad criminals); they had no clue of North America (this is why it is such a shame to have Columbus Day as a holiday and thanksgiving) I won’t even go there (massacre of the Indians); what the hell did he do? That wasn’t already done before-hand. History as it is told in its current format is not true, and those who wish to believe in that are truly out of touch. It is so amazing that history isn’t told the way it should be, that the Native Americans Indians (who are still mistreated) and Mexican Americans (who are still mistreated) were in fact the very first ones here in North America. To those racists who wish to declare the United States for themselves, let’s go back into history and begin with how the United States became as it is today.
First off, let mention to the individuals who think that this country is theirs and theirs only, answer this question:
Who was here first?
Native Americans
Mexicans or
The Superior race (White People)
If one paid any attention to the question and the format, they will come up with the answer and present it to the AJC. It is very upsetting that after leaving the State of Georgia as a young man to discover answers from around the world (20 something years ago) to see that this type of attitude still exist in Georgia and other surrounding Cities. It is very unfortunately as we approach year 2012 that such racism still exist in this country and in this world. Taking a piece from Michael Jackson (RIP)….we should all take a look into the mirror…..and if you don’t like what you see……and if you wish to make the world a better place…….then you got to make that change (White, Black or whatever color you may be). It has to happen NOW!! Forget all this hate, all this crime against each other, it is not important. Believe in yourself, you will feel so much better ……CHANGE!!
STOP HATE
STOP CRIME
LOVE ONE ANOTHER, IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT COLOR YOU ARE
MY BLOOD IS RED
WHAT COLOR IS YOUR BLOOD?
COMMUNICATE/COMPROMISE
IT IS THE THING TO DO, NOW. NOT TOMMORROW, BUT NOW. STOP HATING; LOVE ONE ANOTHER PEOPLE….PLEASE…..PRETTY PLEASE!!!!!!
A story from a lone lost soldier, who wish to return to the State of Georgia, without the hate that exist among its people (White, Black, Mexican) we are all people.

It never fails, on every GA blog the racist show their ugly little heads. The blog could simply be about a cooking recipe and true to GA form, someone will spin the topic into minorities this minorities that. GTF up folks, their are real people hurting out there, placed in a position that they would never imagined they would be in, of course we have the blood suckers too, and of course we have the greedy busienesses, just stop! There is plenty of room for blame, but why waste that time, let’s find fair solutions
