“E-Verify” Is A Stealth National ID
For years, politicians have been preying on the American people’s fears of terrorism and the hysteria over illegal immigration, to push for a national ID. Concerns with government snooping and citizen privacy have taken a back seat to these efforts.
Now, they’re at it again.
In the late 1990s a national identification provision was included in an illegal immigration “reform” bill; it was later repealed. Then, in 2005, the Republican-controlled Congress passed the REAL ID Act as part of an “emergency” supplemental military spending bill. Stuck into this spending measure was a provision mandating a uniform set of driver licensing requirements for states to implement. States were required to provide the information for a database that other states could access.
As a stand-alone bill, the REAL ID Act was unable to gain much traction in the Senate; despite passing the House by a comfortable margin. But after Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) was famously criticized in 2004 by the Bush campaign for not supporting troop funding, no member of the Senate dared oppose the legislation.
Thankfully, because the REAL ID law constituted an unfunded mandate from Washington, more than 20 states have refused to implement its provisions – a form of nullification. The federal government, desperate to gain effective control over state driver’s licensing procedures and information, however, has kept pressing the issue. Legislation, known as PASS ID, was introduced to sooth some of the states’ concerns; but its window-dressing could not disguise the fact that it, too, constitutes a de facto national ID card.
This bad idea has stuck around Washington despite being thoroughly rebuked by many states.
Jim Harper, director of information policy studies at the Cato Institute, has identified several criteria necessary for a program to constitute a national ID. Obviously, federal standards would be applied in this instance; as would a requirement that it carried at all times, which is why Congress has attached the standards to driver’s licenses.
The final requirement, as noted by Harper, is that it be used for identification. This would mean that the ID card or driver’s license would contain some sort of biometric identifier; such as facial recognition. Both REAL ID and PASS ID met these criteria.
The latest stealth attack by the feds to implement a de facto national identification system, however, lurks in the E-Verify program, designed to “assist” employers in determining the work eligibility of a prospective employee. This program was designed to help prevent illegal aliens from obtaining employment in the United States.
Members of Congress are pushing to have the E-Verify program mandated in all 50 states. As explained by Harper, employers would not be allowed to opt-out of this “cardless” national ID system.
“[N]ot having data in the E-Verify databases means not having legal work, so ‘participation’ in E-Verify can be fairly called practically required. Second, try to opt out of the system and you will meet a dead end,” Harper wrote at the Cato Institute’s blog earlier this month. He added that E-Verify is “legally required if the state or federal governments have got your identity data.”
In addition to verifying Social Security numbers of prospective hires, E-Verify would meet the final requirement for a de facto national identification system, by allowing the federal government to gain access to state databases; ostensibly allowing access to other identifiers, including the photo on your state-issued driver’s license.
There are other potentially troublesome consequences if this federal program is expanded. As Harper notes, “E-Verify can be put to use in regulating access to health care and housing, in gun control and registration, in monitoring travel and lodging – the list goes on and on.”
Washington simply will not rest until it has a mandated national identification system in place. It is up to the citizens of the several states to stop this insidious scheme.

Thanks to all of you that read what I posted, particularly Tyson. It shows you’re awake, as opposed to the rest.
Someone posted (Tom) “Land of the Free and the Brave”. Was once. Now it should be “Land of the Controlled and home of the Clueless”.
The REAL ID Act was supposed to be implemented by the states using a D/L by May, 2011. It has been postponed by Congress until June, 2013. As I alluded to, I had to deal with it in 1999 as a part of what I was doing for a client (DMV). To be honest, I thought it would go nowhere (it hadn’t been enacted in final form at that point in time). Unfortunately, I was wrong. It got passed, signed into law, and will be put into effect.
I noted someone referred to Revelations. I’m not a religious person by any stretch of the imagination (as you probably surmised). However, I must admit, about 75% of what is predicted in Revelations, has already occurred. The Mark is next in the pipeline (REAL ID Act – more on that in a minute).
Have you ever used your ATM card to buy gas, groceries, etc.? I’m the guy that pioneered (invented) that technology. Got written up all over the world for it back in 1981/1982. A few months after the pilot and press releases (1982), I looked myself in the mirror and realized “Oh God (if there is one), What have I done?”. That technology alone, the information required to be maintained, and the length of time required to be maintained, set the foundation for the prophecies in Revelations re: the Mark of the Beast to be realized. The ramifications, and potential for misuse (by the gov’t, and others) was enormous. And, over the years, much of what I theorized and feared could happen with that technology and capabilities has happened, and is being used massively today. I’m not (can’t) going to elaborate any further, just let it suffice to say, the foundation block is in place, and has been since.
When the REAL ID Act is implemented, I already have in mind, and am going to do, the remainder of the structure that will facilitate the horrors that some of you have theorized and described above, fulfilling those prophecies. This time, it (technology) is patentable (for those of you who are asking “why didn’t you get filthy rich from what you already did?” – long story). The tenets of the REAL ID Act unfortunately encompass everything you have envisioned, and described, and prophecized in Revelations.
Once I add my planned technology to the mix, the rest will evolve in very short order. THEN, I’m seriously looking at leaving the country (if I can). Bottom line on that is – I get rich, and you get screwed.
Regarding Martial Law, it was Bush that signed it into law in the form of Patriot Acts I &II, expansion of the FISA Act and court(s), and the establishment of the Northern Command – US, thereby effectively abolishing the Posse Comitatus Act. Look it up if you don’t believe me, particularly the “mission statement” of the Northern Command.
So for those of you who don’t have anything to hide, think about what happens in the future if your nosey neighbor gets pissed off at you, or (being the socially oriented local community activist you are) one of your local “friends” in elected office wants more from you. Sounds like the profile of one of my ex-wives and her family (makes me sick to my stomach).
Conversely, if you stay to yourself, stay off the grid (so to speak), then you are automatically a target for every “socially” oriented puke around you. They don’t know you or your business, so you MUST be doing something illegal! I’ve had it happen to me numerous times over the years. One time I watched the police (pigs) watch me from parked across the street from the hours of around 1:00 a.m. to 5-6 a.m. 4-5 days a week for 2 and 1/2 years! When I sued their city, it came out in testimony from their police on the witness stand, that they watched me like a hawk because “nobody knows him, he doesn’t go anywhere, people don’t go in and out of his home, he obviously pays his bills, takes care of his family, etc.. But, he has no credit cards, only uses cash for things, doesn’t associate with anyone, doesn’t drive new cars, but owns propert(ies), we can’t track his bank accounts, we can’t get any information about him, so we initiated surveillance under the premise that he MUST be doing something illegal!”. DAMN RIGHT!. I created the system(s). You think I’m going to use them? What are you – nuts? Not on your life (or mine)!
My position is (obviously) if that’s the way you want to live post REAL ID implementation, here’s the technology (mine) to make it happen, and have at it. I’m (maybe) outta here.

P.S. – In case you haven’t noticed, you are being, and have been, desensitized for the process of complete control, and penalties for non-compliance upon full implementation.
If you don’t believe it, TRY THIS NOW to prove it to yourself.
Quite simply, make a reservation for a domestic flight to anywhere, preferably going through an international airport, for a one way ticket. Show up at the ticket counter, on time, with no luggage (or minimal), and buy the ticket and boarding pass with cash. Something totally innocent, right? Maybe you’re flying to a city to see your grandmother, and drive back a car your grandfather who recently passed away, left you. Just see what happens!
And this is just one minor transaction, TODAY. What will happen to you today in the above scenario is just the tip of the iceberg.

Anyone who takes the E verify chip is putting their soul in jeopardy. If this does become the mark of the beast you have already damned yourself to hell. Don’t vote for any politician who will not vote to repeal the real i d or pass i d law. People who want this are puppets and the government are the puppet masters telling you what to do and how to think. Also lets shut down the federal reserve and the IRS down they are illegal and wrong for our country. We are a Republic not a democracy.

The idea for a national i d card is not new Marvin Stone wrote an article in the September 15,1980 edition of U. S. News and World Report intitled “A National Identity Card” This was way before 9/11. More and more freedoms are being taken away everyday and we don’t even realize it. wake up American stop voting for the same old crooked politicians who are passing these stupid laws, and lets put men and women with good moral values and common sense in their place. Lets not let our nation become a muslim nation either.

The E-Verify system will eventually fail. They know this. This is why it will ultimately lead to a decision made to embed it into your person. At this point you are a complete serf. You will rely on government for all things for all things will only be accessible using your new ID. Also, at this point whatever god you thought you served you now have given up all loyalties that god to serve a new one– namely the government. If this in fact is the 666 mention obviouly your soul is eternally damned with no possible redemption. If it isn’t you will probably will accept it when it does come because you’ve been to give up so much already you won’t have the will or desire to oppose it.

Jerry, in looking at the other posts in support, or non-derogation of the REAL ID Act, I think were already there.
I agree, even with the technology I have planned, it’s not absolutely 100% foolproof (almost though). Nothing is, including a microchip in your person.
However, you can already see in people’s posts, and their attitudes “I have nothing to hide”, “it doesn’t bother me”, “I don’t care”, and the horrific shakedowns and effective strip searches they go through just to get on a plane, we’re already there.
