Obama MAKES SURE that he is on national television each and every day. His ego is getting bigger than God's. Heaven forbids - he starts to think that he is in fact God.

Or, try this -
Who is the dumbest; Obama for inviting Crowley and Gates for beer in a pathetic attempt to spin his gaffe, or Crowley and Gates for accepting?

We're asking for clear, fact-based, concise answers from politicians?! Seriously. It'll never happen...especially from the current set. There's too much hidden fine print to conceal from the public...so the spin will continue unabated. So much for "transparency".

The greatest thing Obama will ever do for this country is fade into the sunset when his time as president is over. I hope to hear as little from Obama when his day in the spotlight is over as I hope to hear from Bush II now that his is over. By the end of his eight years at the helm I was tired of Bush II but never have I thought of Obama as the answer. If Obama is the answer, we asked the wrong questions.

Stumpy July 30th, 2009 12:14 am SAID: Chris, are you only proud of your country when you like the President? I have never called myself Canadian because I was ashamed of what I dislike about my country. I do like Canada though, great beer. But, even when Clinton was our President and I was ashamed of him, I was still proud to be American.

CHRIS SAYS: I wouldn't call myself Canadian either, eh? To say you love everything about a country or even a person ALL THE TIME without any misgivings or reservations whatsoever is naive idealism. I have been called idealistic many times but rarely naive.

Stumpy July 30th, 2009 12:14 am SAID: However, you are the first Liberal I’ve seen (in a long time) that could actually admit when they were wrong about something. I’m intrigued. It means you’re a thinking human and there’s a chance for dialog. I have had to admit I was wrong on ‘Huffington Post’, and believe me, I got roasted severely. Perhaps we can have lively, actual debates and not just rhetoric spewing. I look forward to it.

CHRIS SAYS: Actually, this may surprise you but I consider myself an independent. Many left wing talk radio and news shows turn me off as much as the ones from the right. I rarely find myself watching MSNBC, CNN or FOX because I find them pandering to an ignorant and uninformed audience. I voted for Bush Sr. in 92 (always liked Papa Bush), for Clinton in 96(other choice was pathetic Dole), for Bush in 2000 (couldn't stand Gore), for Kerry in 04(would have voted for the dog catcher if he/she ran against Bush at this point) and Obama in 08(Sarah Palin omfg/what was McCain thinking?). As you can see, not the typical liberal voting record. I may have voted for Obama but I also disagree with a lot of his decisions.

Sorry for the let down but not what you were expecting, eh? :-)

WBK July 29th, 2009 2:00 pm SAID: Are you trying to shoot me down like your ilk is doing to Palin. Well, you called me a redneck. I call that racist. That offends me! Just like IF I used the “N” word toward you.

CHRIS SAYS: You obviously aren't that smart if you're comparing yourself to Sarah Palin. Now even I wouldn't stoop THAT LOW!!! LOL, If only all of us could be enlightened enough to aspire to her great intellect!!! Called you a Redneck??? LOL, I called you a racist, dude!!! Funny that you consider "redneck" a worse insult. Tells me how that little mind of your works. You pretty much called Professor Gates the "N" word so calling me that wouldn't be a stretch......though it would leave people confused since I'm of good German stock. But go ahead, as Clint Eastwood said" Make my day"!!!!

WBK July 29th, 2009 2:00 pm SAID:I am talking about a racist Professor who will not be admonished for his behavior OUTSIDE his home. You do not have private property rights anymore because you liberals have already taken that away. The 4th ammendment does NOT apply. The professor (if you want to call someone like that a professor) should have had a little more self discipline.

CHRIS SAID: For behavior OUTSIDE his home? You mean on his PROPERTY outside his RESIDENCE? Don't know which state you live in but we STILL HAVE private property rights. LOL, the Professor should have had more self-discipline? On his own property? ROFLMAO. Hey guys, no more wearing tacky shirts or wife beaters on your OWN PROPERTY!!! Ever heard the saying about your home being your castle? But then you will realize that once you move out of your Mom's house.

WBK July 29th, 2009 2:00 pm SAID:The “officer of the law” was sent there for a legal purpose. Oh well, it does not matter. Who cares.

CHRIS SAYS: Yeah, the cop was sent for a legal purpose and once he identified the legal resident, he should have backed off. Now, hopefully, the Professor sues the local cops and lets the courts sort it out the LEGAL way.

If asked (and I keep my behavior in check no matter whether I'm right or how I feel) and I provide proof that I am the legal resident, then the police presence at my home should end. They should not have the right to continue to search the premises and, furthermore, should not have the right to force me to step outside. These are the things that warrant much additional discussion.
