Nobody thinks one speech will unilaterally change thousands of years and millions of minds. But it is a step. One small step. And after eight years of belligerent, bellicose “engagement”, it’s a welcome step.

It also helps not to deliberately provoke and aggravate people by referring to other religions as “so-called, for lack of a better word.”

If you want to have a conversation, start by speaking sensibly. If you simply want to fight, grab a weapon and head over to the Sandbox. Or Afghanistan. But your fellow Americans? We’re trying to have a conversation here.

Copyleft and your reality is that one man can change thousands of years of a mindset? Now…who is drifting away from reality? Copyleft, will you be okay once Obama’s term or terms are up. Will you be able to continue on in your life? I doubt it. I doubted many of the moves and decisions Bush made, I still do. That’s more than you Obama fanatics can say. I expect any day you’ll see him skipping out across the sea. One more time: Muslim hatred for our way of life is far greater than their admiration for one man. There’s no kind of pregnant or a little dead or a moderate Muslim. Get a clue.

Let me see if I have this right. After one speech Obama is going to change the mindset of a group of people and their so called, for lack of a better word I will use religion, to stop stoning people for wanting to marry whomever they choose to marry; stop the killing of women who want an education and stop the murdering of innocent people…. all in the name of Praise Allah? You guys are scary.
