Yes, it’s that time again. Let’s talk about pizza.
It’s been almost two-and-a-half years since we last asked about pizza in Atlanta, so we definitely need to update this one.
It’s said that even when it’s bad, it’s still pretty good. But why eat bad pizza when there’s so much good stuff out there? First, we need to know where to find that amazing pizza. That’s where you come in. Whether it’s thin and crispy or thick and chewy, we want to hear about your favorite place for a slice (or a whole pie).
Tell us your pick for the best place to get pizza in and around Atlanta, and what makes it so special.

Christo’s Pizza in Marietta beats every pizza in the metro area. Their White Pizza with white cheddar cheese, feta, roasted garlic, artichoke and oven‐roasted tomatoes will blow you away. Christo’s will spoil you from ever eating in another pizza joint.

Everyone loves all of these trendy pizza places that would never survive in New York or Chicago where people know pizza. The best and most authentic slices you will get around Atlanta are Baby Tommy’s or Bella’s Pizza.

Dollar for dollar, you can’t do better than Kroger brand frozen pizza and a 12 pack of Busch Lite Ice.
That has been my go to date night starter for years!

Antico is crap and it’s a circus inside. It could be better if they actually put toppings on the pizza, didn’t burn half of it, and the help wasn’t rude. I have to wonder about people that think Antico is good pizza…
Shorty’s, Hearth, and Mellow mushroom are all much better pizza and it comes with a chair to sit in so you can eat it.

Jes,
Never go to Italy and eat the pizza, because you will hate it. Antico is without question the closest thing Atlanta has to Italian Pie. That you mention Mellow Mushroom is pretty funny.

Fellinnis on Howell Mill, get the sausage pie, don;t bother with just a slice.
Bellas in Smyrna, Meatball pie, top notch
Oz pizza in East Point, pie with eggplant
Pie in the Sky in Kennesaw makes a decent pie and the 30″ circus size is not bad considering tge size is hugh and good for a large group.
Sorry but any Johnnys NY Style is a far cry from the real thing, they are popular but no resemblence to even bad NY pizza
