Last two times at Mary Macs, food was decent but the service was terrible and we had out of town guests! Will never go back after eating there for 25 years. The Whistle Stop in Kennesaw is good and the service is great! Carol’s Cafe at Bells Ferry and Barrett Parkway is good.

Whoever is recommended Big Daddy’s doesnt know good food. Mary Mac’s or Busy Bees is the best Atlanta has to offer.

The Barbecue Kitchen on Virginia Avenue — we’ve been going there for 30 years, and they’ve always been good. The vegetables are fresh, chosen from what’s available at the farmer’s market. We see the local constabulary whenever we’re there, which says a lot about the quality of the restaurant.

I can’t believe I haven’t seen Maritza’s and Frank’s.located in McDonough and the original in Hapeville. Best corn muffins and fried chicken in town.
