Ale Yeah!, Decatur and Roswell locations. Selection is fantastic and the service is what really sets them apart. Everybody inside the store knows the brews back and front and talk to you like you’re a person, not a piece of meat w/ $20 in your wallet. The best beer store I’ve ever been in. Period.

For beer stores, Hop City is the best because they carry the widest variety of beers in Atlanta AND sell growlers. But it is not convenient to get to if you don’t live in-town. Tower Beverage is my ‘go-to’ beer store primarily because I live close to it.

The Porter in little 5. Amazing beer selection, and a great experience! Best bar in ATL hands down. But don’t take my word for it, check out all of the awards they have won for their beer choices.

Hop City for selection, knowledge & service. They have growlers too.
Total Wine in Alpharetta for service, selection & price.
Jax’s in Cumming for local selection, but no service. Crafty Draught in Cumming has growlers, great knowledge & service, and is growing their selection.
I hear the Brickstore sets the standard for a brew pub.

The sad thing is there is not one establishment on that spot that has one bit of significance like the Beer Mug did. I mean what’s there another grocery store, a no-sex massage parlor and a school of cosmetology? I ask you where are the Urban Planners??

Taco Mac….hands down has the best SELECTION. Obviously the other commenters don’t understand the word “selection”. Brickstore is GREAT…but I wouldn’t say they have a great selection. Maybe the most unique selection, but not the best. When Taco Mac has 40+ beers just on tap, never mind the many, many more in bottles. That is truly a selection. Vote based on selection….taco mac. Seems everyone wants to feel like they’re so smart and know beer so well by voting for other places with only 20 or so beers on tap. Why don’t you just get a count of how many beers each location had and call it a day.
