Goodie 2 Shoes and Shoe Depot off Chattahoochee are great for the bargain shopper. They have brand name and very unique shoes at warehouse prices. I always check them out when I have a special event coming up.

It is hard to beat Nordstrom’s for shoes in Atlanta. They have a great selection and service especially the Perimeter Mall store.

I would also give an Honorable Mention to Bennie’s Shoes. While the selection is not as wide as you might like if they have your style, size and color you’ll probably save a buck or two.

My faves are Nordstroms Rack, Jeffrey (formerly Bob Ellis), Saks, Off Fifth (Saks Outlet), Nieman Marcus Last Call.

I will say that Emly Benham isn’t well known but definitely worth an honorable mention, only not a fave because depending on who is working, they aren’t very friendly which is why I only shop/tolerate them when they have seasonal sales

Sole in Edgewood gets my vote. Their selection is always on trend. Though, lately most of their stuff have been way overpriced. The Scoutmob discounts help out on occasion. I’m not a fan of their new Atlantic Station store. I think it’ too over done and the items are too pricey. Considering I can easily find similar items in the nearby Dillards or DSW.
Emily Benham has the designer brands all the posers in Atl crave. But the sales staff need to get over themselves. Heffas, ya’ll only selling the shoes. Your names aren’t on the labels!!
But the best place in ATL for shoes is still Nordstroms.

Shoe Gallery in Roswell – in the shopping mall at corner of Highway 9 and Highway 92. Both my wife and I can always find something there (for our hard to fit feet) and for reasonable prices.

My favorite is Nordstrom (both online and in-store), Saks Fifth Avenue and Sole Society (solesociety.com)!

When I lived in Atlanta, my spot was Goodie 2 Shoes and the Shoe Depot. Still have a pair of shoes I bought there over ten years ago!

For men, there is no contest: Friedman’s downtown on Mitchell St. Bruce and his crew have been taking care of their customers for decades. First rate customer service, great selection, and world famous clients.

Visit Elaine Breedlove Fashion Downtown. The prices are very reasonable and you won’t see these shoes anywhere around Atlanta.
