OUR PICKS
1. Netherworld
We say, “There’s a very good reason that Netherworld has received so many accolades and awards and has fans coming back again and again. The folks behind this haunt take gruesomely imaginative concepts and pair them with outstanding special effects in an effort to scare you out of your wits. And they’ve been doing it for 16 successful seasons.”

Just got back from the trial run at Cagle’s Family Farm Haunted House and Corn Maze in Canton. I’m pretty skeptical of most haunted houses, and I thought they did a darned good job. If you’re on the Northside, go check it out.

I assume there’s nothing even close to Netherworld? If anyone *who’s been there* has found something else that’s decent I’d love to know. Would be great to find something new/different and genuinely scary.

I don’t think there are any other Halloween attractions around that let you shoot zombies with paintball guns, so I’ll have to go with the Atlanta Zombie Apocalypse (just a few miles past the Starlight Drive-In on Moreland Ave). That is one heckuva thrilling experience. I wish it was open year ’round. And no, I do not work for them.
