For my $$ I would say Whitehall Tavern off Peachtree Battle. Wednesday is adults only, and it is a blast. The team names also are pretty lewd, but funny

Two great places in Tucker. Shorty’s Pizza on Lawrenceville Hwy has outstanding pizzas and an interesting way of playing trivia. Best of all, their DJ spins old vinyl that anyone can bring in for play. Great to hear the classics in an analog format. Not a corporate Trivia game either.

Also great is Mellow Mushroom on LaVista by the Best Buy. Great (not outstanding) pizza, wonderful wait staff, a great caller (from Team Trivia) although the place has become populated by cheaters who use their cell phones/smart phones to look up answers.

Both places are Tuesday nights.

What I really miss is CashCab on cable. Where did that show run off to???

We play different places, our favorite host is Ron from Get Smart Trivia, currently we play at GABBA on Sunday and either the Wing Factory in Chamblee or Vintage Pizza on Thursday.

Full Contact Trivia is hands down the best trivia around. There are several shows in the metro Atlanta area and cheating is in no way tolerated (the way trivia is supposed to be played). Check out the website below for more information about shows in your area.

Manuel’s Tavern, every Sunday Night. Todd, the MC, has been doing trivia there for something like 15-20 years and has it down to a science. Many teams (including my own) have been regularly playing there for years.

Adam, you must be REALLY good! We played at Manuel’s one time on a Sunday, and it was impossible; the DJ played a “name that song” clip that consisted of about two notes. And other teams got it right. (Not ours!) We play Team Trivia on Tuesdays at the Mellow Mushroom Northlake mentioned above (yes, James the DJ is excellent; he was the first DJ our team ever had), but I didn’t know there was a problem with cheating. Our team definitely doesn’t; we sit right next to James. I also like Johnny’s Pizza on Sugarloaf Parkway on Saturday nights with Rael, who always has entertaining song matches to the questions. Our team also loves Padriac’s on Mondays; though the Outspoken format isn’t as good as Team Trivia, in my opinion, Andre the DJ there is fantastic! (As are the French fries!)

Manuel’s is definitely the tops. Great host, great atmosphere, great people. Amy is right, though. It is tough place to play with some top competition.

Full Contact Trivia shows are the best you can ask for…. Bobby is especially brutal on the mic which often makes for some very hilarious banter across the room.

As a trivia host myself with more than 5 years experience I can say from both sides of the table that bobby nettles and Full Contact Trivia is the best in the game. With locations from Athens to L5P and Gainesville he has the metro area single handedly covered But don’t bother pulling out your phone unless you wish to be humiliated in a public forum.

There’s trivia in this town, and then there’s Full Contact Trivia. Bobby’s been doing this for YEARS, and if you really want to see if you have game, you play his game. No cheating, no guessing. You get it wrong, I mean REALLY wrong? He will make sure everyone knows about it. That said, he’s also the most entertaining, most interesting, and most difficult trivia MASTER since Alex Trebek. We’ve played at other venues, and laughed at the final “hard question”, knowing it would never appear at a FTC show, unless Bobby was feeling generous.

The Atlanta Science Tavern has a pretty intense trivia match a few times a year. It meets at Manuel’s Tavern. The regular non-science trivia game on Sundays at Manuel’s is also tops.

Manuel’s Tavern on Sunday nights is far and away the best in Atlanta. The regular MC is an ex-college bowl player and a former contestant on both “Jeopardy” and “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire”…and has a very good all-round knowledge of just about any topic. He’ll double-check an answer if it doesn’t sound right, and won’t just blindly take the printed out answer for that night’s set of questions like some of the MC’s at other places. And he also writes a few of his own questions from time to time, and they’re usually quite entertaining. It’s also a good place because there are very strong teams that have been playing there for years, and it’s very competitive. And it helps that Manuel’s has pretty decent bar food, as well.

What David Gardner said — Manuel’s on Sunday hosted by Todd has been the best for many years.

This is a non discussion.

Full Contact Trivia is easily the best!

If you think otherwise, play one time at Bobby’s game.
As somebody stated above, if you think you have a good team then come play at a FCT event.
