Performing arts: Cirque du Soleil celebrates the music of the late King of Pop in “Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour,” an elaborate production taking over Philips Arena for three performances at 8 p.m. June 29 and 30 and 4 p.m. July 1. Check out our preview.

Festival: Old Five Points, at the intersection of Ashford Dunwoody and Johnson Ferry roads, is the place to experience cuisines from around the world at the Taste of the World Fest. they’ll also have an artists’ market, music and more. It happens noon-10 p.m. June 29-30.

Music: In “Live Music Matters: A Tribute to Eddie Owen Presents,” more than 50 artists pay tribute to local music scene eminence Eddie Owen and his new series at Duluth’s Red Clay Theatre. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. June 22; 5 and 9 p.m. June 23; 3 and 7 p.m. June 24; 7:30 p.m. June 26.

Music: The hugely successful country trio Lady Antebellum, which includes Augusta boys Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, brings a set packed with hits to the Gwinnett Arena at 7 p.m. June 22.

Exhibition, history: “Bat Mitzvah Comes of Age” is an exhibition at the Marcus Jewish Community Center in Dunwoody that explores 90 years of the coming-of-age ritual for Jewish girls.
