You say, “Souper Jenny’s is great. There is a crazy mix of people there ( I think they are all some type of performer…because I looked it up online before I went.) Even though they were plenty busy when we got there, we didn’t have to wait long and there is even a separate room for the kids to sit and eat in (even though its small).”

The AJC dining team’s specialist in Southern and Neighborhood Fare Jenny Turknett says, “Finally — a place where you can have a nice meal and your kids can, too, at a fraction of the cost. Kyma’s kids’ menu ventures well beyond chicken fingers and hot dogs with items like the single cut lamb chop, shrimp or chicken souvlaki (kebabs) and spanakopita (spinach and feta in filo dough). For about $7, you can introduce your children to the same Mediterranean flavors you enjoy.”

JCT has a great kids menu and pricing. As does Local Three! My kids love to go to these “grown up” places!

Even though it is a chain restaurant, the Mac&Cheese at Outback is pretty solid. I think my wife like it as much as the kids. Though it is not listed as a side on the menu, she usually convinces the server to substitute it as a side on whatever meal she orders.

Picadilly is great for kids. Thursday’s they eat for .99. They even have a big kids meal for 1.99 with larger portions, which is awesome for me since my 11 year old eats like a teenager! It’s great for the family b/c we can all enjoy a somewhat healthy meal. I am totally boycotting McD’s in my house. I showed my kids the pink slime they were using for chicken nuggets and I couldn’t pay them to eat there now, lol!

I LOVE the containers that are shown in the picture above. Where are they from?

Ted’s Montana Grill has a great kid’s menu and the portion sizes are good. They actually serve things other than grilled cheese sandwhiches and mac and cheese like most places. Kid’s can actually get turkey and dressing, salmon and things like that.

@Kat, not sure about the purple one, but I’ve found the green container at the Container Store for sure, and I think a few other places carry it. Also comes in other colors. Great for cheerios and other small snacks.

My picky 5 year old loves the kid’s menu at Vickery’s. Nothing really special about the menu, but he does seem to gravitate towards their grilled PB&J.

Darn, i thought it was a restaurant that was putting kids food out like that. My daughter would be in heaven.

Definitely Ted’s Montana Grill for the same reasons as KG stated. How can we offer kids only chicken fingers, mac & cheese, plain pasta, cheese pizza and hot dogs, and yet expect them to make good food choices. We always swap out fries for veggies too, and my kids eat all their veggies happily. Eating healthy is normal in my house and I expect the same choices for my kids when we go out.
p.s. Do NOT include McDonald’s as a voting choice or I will not take this seriously.

Definetly Ted’s. Those bison sliders are a hit with my 6 and 3 year olds!

My little Michelle was always partial to the chicken fingers at Spanky’s in Savannah. Her favorite though, by far was the foie gras at the Capital City Club. She ordered it in perfect French and her grandfather and the wait staff always shared a laugh. I miss her. It’s been four years now, but seems just like yesterday.

Ted’s Montana Grill has a great kids’ menu and the wait staff are very cognizant of a child’s need in getting their food quickly.

The kids’ menu at Rise-n-Dine in Emory Village is one of our favorites.

We also like the kids’ menu at the chain restaurant Jason’s Deli.

The kids’ meals at Zoe’s Kitchen are healthy, good portions and reasonably priced. They have grilled chicken fingers, chicken quesadillas or chicken/steak rollups with fruit that my kids adore.
