Smokehouse BBQ in Oakwood, Georgia has phenomenal banana pudding. It’s a cooked custard recipe that is served warm and the pudding alone is enough to make the trip up there.

It’s not exactly banana pudding, but the banana dessert at Bahama breeze is fab! 4 slices warm banana bread, sauteed banana slices, hot caramel sauce, sliced almonds, whipped cream – makes my mouth water to think about it.

It’s not metro ATL, but Countrys BBQ in Columbus (the one downtown with the Bus) has the best I ever et. Served in mason jars with absolutely perfect meringue on top. Made for years by the same woman daily.

@bhorsoft I grew up in Columbus, and we ate at Country’s a lot! You’ve just made me want to take another trip to visit family, and go out to eat for dinner!!!
