This thick banana-studded pudding topped with crumbled vanilla cookies will remind you of your grandmother’s specialty on a good day.
“The banana pudding at South City Kitchen is the highfalutin cousin to the one at Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q. SCK’s trifle-style pudding, layered with whipped cream, banana slices and sugar cookie chards, puts the velvety custard center stage. Don’t have a nominee. But I really appreciate your various “Best of Atlanta” blogs. I frequently travel to Altanta and your blogs have led me to some terrific restaurants that I would have never found on my own.

@bhorsoft I grew up in Columbus, and we ate at Country’s a lot! You’ve just made me want to take another trip to visit family, and go out to eat for dinner!!! (OK, that didn’t come out right, but I’m not going to change it. LOL I just got back Saturday night from a visit with family – I don’t just go down there when I want to eat at Country’s.)

Swallow at the Hollow in Roswell on Green Street. They serve theirs with a warm chocolate chip cookie and homemade whipped cream. I didn’t even like banana pudding until I had theirs.
