1. C&S Seafood & Oyster Bar
The AJC dining team’s Popular Eats specialist Jon Watson says, “C&S Seafood & Oyster bar in Vinings carries one of the most impressive and diverse rotating selections of oysters in town. While Apalachicola oysters are a dime a dozen at raw bars in Atlanta, C&S gives diners between 8-10 options from all over the world.”

Perhaps not a raw bar by definition, but Oceanaire has the best oysters I’ve had in Atlanta. Six Ft Under is decent. I cannot believe people are mentioning Steamhouse. Probably the worst oysters I’ve ever had.

OceanAire in Atlanta, pricey, but worth it they fly them in fresh daily… they have an actual oyster bar with oysters available from all over. they are amazing.

Because of this poll, (and because I’m off on Fall Break this week) I ventured over to Fontaine’s today for the 4-7 1/2 priced oyster special. Sat at the bar, had 2 dozen raw. FANTASTIC!! Kudos to Amanda behind the bar for introducing me to Sam Adams October draft. You now have a LOYAL patron. (I’m furious I’ve been here for about 2 decades and had never heard of this place until now) Fell in love with the place. It’s worth the time to pay it a visit!
