MONDAY

Music, fireworks: The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s All American Celebration includes patriotic standards, sing-along anthems and classical thunder, and features the U.S. Army Chorus and fireworks. The show begins at 8 p.m. July 4 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Alpharetta.

Holiday, parade, fireworks: Decatur’s July 4th Pied Piper Parade, Concert and Fireworks begins with the parade line-up at 5:30 p.m. July 4 at First Baptist Church of Decatur. It ends at the community bandstand on the square with a presentation of colors and “The Star Spangled Banner.” Callanwolde Concert Band performs at 7 p.m.; fireworks after 9 p.m. Courthouse Square..

Fireworks, music: Diana DeGarmo and Trace Adkins headline Lenox Square’s 52nd Annual Legendary 4th celebration, but the real star is probably the fireworks display. A carnival begins at 10 a.m.; Taste of the 4th is 2-6 p.m. ($10); live entertainment begins at 6 p.m.; and the fireworks start after 9:30 p.m. July 4.

Music, fireworks: Gates open at 2 p.m. July 4 for Centennial Olympic Park’s 4th of July Celebration. Live entertainment begins at 4 p.m. with Alpharetta quartet von Grey and concludes with “American Idol” runner-up Crystal Bowersox.

Baseball, fireworks: It’s the the Braves vs. the Rockies at 7:10 p.m. July 4 followed by Independence Day fireworks at Turner Field.

Fireworks, music, festival: Alpharetta’s July 4 Fireworks and Festivities begin with free children’s activities from 5-8 p.m. July 4 in Wills Park. The Alpharetta City Band will play your favorite patriotic music from 6-7 p.m., followed by classic rock and country from Serious Business. The evening culminates in a fireworks display at dusk.

Festival, fireworks: Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers will light up for the 8th Annual Fabulous 4th Festival. The fun begins at 5 p.m. July 4.

Fireworks, music, festival: Roswell’s 12th Annual July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza includes carnival games and activities that begin at 6 p.m. July 4. Music from Banks & Shane starts at 7:30 p.m. at Roswell High School

Nature, fireworks:Through fireworks are not allowed inside the park, you can listen to whippoorwills and owls and watch as hundreds of fireworks shower the skyline of Atlanta at Panola Mountain State Park’s Starlight and Fireworks. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. Bring flashlights and wear comfortable clothing.
