1. Dulce Vegan Bakery & Café
You say, “It’s a fun and colorful atmosphere, with all kinds of rich, moist, and flavorful treats” and “My daughter has dairy, gluten, soy and egg allergies and Dulce Vegan has come through every time. The cakes are unbelievable and the sandwiches are delicious!”
1. Pure Knead
The AJC dining team’s specialist in Southern and Neighborhood Fare Jenny Turknett says, “Pure Knead is an allergy-friendly bakery offering products that are free of gluten, dairy, soy, nuts and shellfish. The bakery makes breads, crackers, buns, cookies, bread pudding and cupcakes with textures that are remarkably similar to traditional wheat-based products. My two favorites are the boules and the flatbread crackers that each come in assorted flavors. Pure Knead sells to many restaurants but now holds retail hours on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Arrive early or the boules will be gone!”
