Any word on what time the parking lots open??

Last year I ran into an issue, when I tried to arrive super-early to set up an all day tailgate, and security guards told me the parking lots were not open yet. They were unable to tell me what time they opened, and I had to literally drive around for almost 2 hours before they finally let me in.

I would like to arrive at the stadium around 2pm tomorrow, and don;t want to run into a similar issue.

I do have a pass for the Green Lot already purchased, btw.

Thanks.

The Braves need to step it up. How about getting rid of McLouth and Chipper? Both suck majorly! Getting beat by 1 or 2 runs is so pathetic!

GT Fan… you definitely didn’t attend GT if you’re saying dumbass comments like that. Chipper had an RBI double yesterday in the first and Nate had our first hit against Gallardo. Try watching the games.

One thing you won’t see this weekend is a productive CF for the Bravos. Let’s get those bats going at the friendly confines!

For the love of God, the braves haven’t started the season yet? Why do I keep reading in the AJC that they are losing to the Brewers? Baseball and the NBA really need shorter seasons!

Another key note – DO NOT PARK ON THE STREETS NEAR THE STADIUM! The City has never enforced its parking permit restrictions there before, but due to neighborhood complaints, the restrictions will be enforced this season. Look for signs indicating that parking permits are required on the block. If the sign is there, don’t park there.

I didn’t claim I went to GT you idiot! And, it’s people like you who jump on the Braves band wagon when they are winning, but when they’re losing you are quick to throw to the side. Please C. Jones is a old fart, stuck up s.o.b who produces only when he wants, he’s over paid. McLouth sucks, and only gets lucky! I am sure we have a better center field then him.

Is anyone else annoyed that the parking lots aren’t opening until 3:30? Alot of people took off work all day and/or are on Spring Break, and want to get into the lots earlier to tailgate. Do you think they will open sooner?

GTFan glad to see you are following the stats closely this early. Let’s see Chipper is second in team batting @ .333 with 3 rbi’s and Lowe leads the team in era @ 0.77 with a team high 13 strikeouts. Yep looks like age is getting the best of Chipper right now and Lowe sucks! Wow! The only thing I will agree with you on right now is about Nate. I still think he is going to start producing. As for you saying Chipper is a stuck up SOB. No one on that team in recent years has restructered his contract or deferred more money and taken the home town discount more than that guy. Especially in a time when players only think about one thing getting paid. So while I agree his best years are behind him our lineup is better than most with him playing!

GTFan- You must be one of those unathletic kids who never made any sports teams in high school. Your bitterness is obvious when you slam Chipper Jones-one of the best players on the Braves. Have you ever watched baseball before? Does someone need to explain the rules to you? Keep your dumbass comments to yourself.

Is there anyone out there as disappointed as my tailgate crew that the Green Lot parking isn’t opening until 3:30!!!??? With all atlanta schools out on spring break, and the amount of people I alone know have taken off work to get there early…it’s a shame on opening night that the biggest tailgate spot isn’t opening until so late in the afternoon!!! Anyone believe that if we get there early there is a chance they will start to open up early??

GTFan- I can agree with you and say that I’ve never cared for McClouth, but start you ignorant comments about Chipper Jones, who will be a hall of fame inductee!! Have you even watched the first 6 games…Jones is batting .333 (yeah I guess that’s just awful for the old man) he’s second in the Braves line up with most hits, has yet to strike out. And for the the Braves to get beat by the Brewers…props to Gallardo….dude was a beast the other night, and Minor got off to a rocky start, it’s only game 7 of the season, got 6 months to go bud.

LOL!! I forget how lazy some of the residents of our lovely state are! Really?? Asking how early the parking lots open?? ARE YOU REALLY THAT BORED GUYS?? Listen, I love baseball just as much as the next guy, and even like to throw back a couple beers a few minutes before i go into the stadium, but you guys are whining about not being able to set up a tailgate at 2 o’clock for a 7 o’clock at night game???? REALLY!!??? You cant get all your drinking and eating done in like 30-45 minutes before game time?? You need (or want) to spend 5-6 hours in a crime-ridden, hot stretch of asphault to attend a braves game. I just suspect we have some really bored individuals or people with no life, that have that much time to spend on a baseball game. Football is at least understandable because their are only 8 home football games all year, yet there are 81 baseball games and you guys are celebrating like the World Cup final is at Turner Field tomorrow. Sadly, it is just the home opener for our weak hitting, 3-4 Atlanta Braves. My main point though, is just to point out how many of our lovely blog comrades have no jobs, no girlfriends to make love to, no friends coming in town to greet, no books they could read to further there lifelong education… NO they are going to circle around the braves parking lots….6 hours prior to game time, and probably make the parking lot attendants pretty annoyed. Lots open at 3:30, if you want to spend the entire day drinking and talking about a single baseball game for 10 hours- then do the first half at home or a bar and find a DD or something. Quit whining, 3:30 is plenty early to open the lots for a 7:30 game. I really cant believe how many life losers there are, when you are unemployed, have no girlfriend, no friends, no normal social skills….. I guess thats what you do, prowl parking lots all day drinking. Thats sad for even my hardcore alcoholic friends. I unfortunately cant join all you losers at 2 oclock tommorrow because I will be working at my job, I know….You guys will get there too at one point…A job, a wife, a life….your days of spending 6 hours pregamming will slowly tick away

All the haters on here need to go back to watching WNBA. It’s the first week of the season geez. I for one like this team and think we can go a long way. I would like for Wren to pick up a big righty bat for the bench but other than that, think we have a pretty balanced team. Hope to see the Ted rockin tonight, can’t wait for the opener!! Go Bravos!
