Want the best “Meat & 3″? Come to my house this afternoon. Homemade fried chicken, rolls, salad, corn on the cob. You can’t beat Granny’s southern-style cooking! It’s the BESTEST!

Lots of good places on here. I have to say that I have been to the West Cobb Diner about 10 times now and it’s truly awesome. I used to live right by Mary Mac’s and thought it was the best. If this were Top Chef, WCD would win in a landslide.

Midway Meal House is just not a good as it used to be, but it’s the place for Fried Chicken Livers. I found a new place on Chamblee Tucker, BJs Home Cooking. Pretty darn good, great meats, vegetables were good, and included drink for $6. They also give you huge portions. Worth checking out.

You can’t beat the food, the service and the prices at Doug’s Place in Emerson. Just 15 minutes north of Barrett Parkway, at the Emerson/Allatoona exit. For less than the price of a fast food combo meal, you get home cooked meats, huge portions of home cooked veggies, and homemade biscuits and cornbread. Or go for the all you can eat catfish for $7.99, or Wednesday night’s ribeye steak special with baked potato, salad and texas toast for $7.99!

This is PSA: The worst meat and 3 sides in Atlanta hands down is THIS IS IT on Cobb Parkway!!!!! It is horrendous! They cook and freeze vegetables ahead of time, can vegetables at that! I have never ever heard of freezing cabbage, but that’s exactly what they do. Also, they store their desserts in the freezer along with the meat so all the wrapped deserts smell awful (no baking soda in that freezer). The stench when you walk in will knock you back. I’ve reported them to corporate several times, and each time I’m told that it’s own my a investor. Don’t go there!

I don’t think everyone knows what a real meat and three is, and people are posting their favorite haunts.
