Best pulled pork

The pulled pork at Fox Bros. is your pick for the best in and around Atlanta. That side of collard greens is pretty tasty, too. Photo: Becky Stein / Special

YOUR PICKS
1. Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q
You say, “I’ve never met a pulled Q sandwich I didn’t like….but Fox Brothers is really, really good” and “very good on a sandwich but even better as part of the Texas Fries.”

3. Sam’s BBQ1

5. Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q

OUR PICKS
1. Beaver Creek Biscuit Company and Barbeque
The AJC dining team’s Popular Eats specialist Jon Watson says, “The pulled pork served at Beaver Creek Biscuit Company is perfectly moist and smokey, with generous chunks of crunchy bark mixed in with the meat. When ordering the pork plate, make sure that you specify that you want it pulled and not chopped, and top it off with some of their delicious mustard and vinegar based “Seminole sauce.’”

Suzannas Kitchen ask Brad Howard and they make their own sauces to go with their slow cooked butts with hickory fire wood. A long time family tradition.

To poster robert o’brien….must be an employee of bub a que cuz everytime I’ve been there the pork is dry at best. the “macaroni” is made on top of the stove, the beans have been cooked for seems like weeks and gee, who can screw up tea.

The place gets bad reviews.

Have had great pulled pork at Pig and Chick a few times and BBQ1 lots of times as it is very near where I live, but I believe the best I’ve had is at Wallace BBQ in Austell. Silky smooth, smoky, and absolutely succulent! Needs no sauce, but they have several good ones. Look forward to trying the others.

I had the best pull pork at the park, that’s right, My boys play ball at George Pierce Park in Suwannee and the park has the best smoked hand pulled pork anywhere. I think it’s named Lone Wolf BBQ. Try it and love it.
