BORING Banning Mills. If you like old people with nothing to do go here. The zip lines are way overrated and that takes about 15 minutes to do. My family and I were so bored we sat and watched TV the rest of the weekend.

Historic Banning Mills in Whitesburg, Georgia. If you want to add a thrill to your weekend getaway, this is the place. Incredible zip lines, horseback riding, kayaking, beautiful views and awesome cabins will take your breath away.

North GA Canopy Tours is the best for the fall especially but anytime of year. I’ve ziplined on cruises in Alaska and other places and there is no need to pay those excursion prices. We’ve got the best zipline company right here in GA. I took my 13 year old son and we had a blast and a great bonding experience.

This place was amazing!! The zipline tours are tons of fun and the scenery is beautiful. Banning Mills offers a one of a kind getaway. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Just north of Atlanta, North Georgia Canopy Tours is fun for everyone! It’s a zip lining canopy tour, competitive to those you would find in the rain forests of Costa Rica. My aunt and I had so much fun, and the guides are really knowledgeable.

The staff is very knowledgeable & makes your tour a blast; they even have staff photographers so you can just enjoy the ride & still have pics to take home. North Georgia Canopy Tours Rocks! Tour guides made the experience really fun! I got a surprise tandem zip with one of the tour guides – very cool. Great experience across 12 different zip lines, two over the river and 2 rope bridges. http://www.ziplula.com

Best getaway in and around Atlanta is boating or just hangin out on LAKE LANIER! When you get on the lake racing across it or just anchored in a nice cove, the busy world seems to stop. We are so blessed to have this awesome man made lake just 40 minutes north from downtown Atlanta. The parks, tranquility and natural wonder of this lake is still a secret to many natives so save your gas, cmon up and visit the many parks and recreation facilities around lake lanier. This Lake is a man made marvel. Port Royale and Paradise Boat Rentals still have many boats available to rent at an awesome deal and the weather and the fall colors are working to give us a spectacular fall show! Lake Lanier Gear has an awesome array of long sleeve t’s and souvenirs. Lake Lanier Islands Resort has great events planned for the holidays. You can’t beat being lakeside and unsalted it just doesn’t get any better than this!

Banning Mills in Carrollton. The ziplines are the obvious highlight, but there is so much more! Hiking trails, the nature, piece and quiet, and only a short drive out. The cabins are fantastic. Loved the food! Can’t wait to go back!

The North Georgia Canopy Tours in Lula Georgia ROCK! If you have never ZIPPED you simply have to try it. We went up last Saturday and Brian and Dave were our guides and they literally had our lives in their hands and they were professional and great guides, You have nothing to worry about when this team of guides is teaching you the ROPES. We zipped thru the treetops at 70′ high and ENJOYED the awesome forest of North Georgia. A 3 hour tour it had all the bells and whistles and its what a great adventure should be, Fun, exciting and educational.Ya gotta go Zip, it’s a blast!!!!

SPENDOR MOUNTAIN in Rabun County, GA lives up to its name. Offers spectacular views, excellent accomodations, and inspiring landscaping throughout the grounds. Meditative, restorative and very congenial staff. The lookout up above the lake is my favorite walk there. There is also a cabin overlooking a waterfall with a window over the bed to allow stargazing from your pillows. We can’t wait to return!

Love to see the fall leaves change colors? There is nothing more breath-taking than being there IN the tree tops. We like to head up to the North Georgia mountains and zip-line with all the kids (especially fun with the teen crowd–they are amazingly open for a couple hours). We go to North Georgia Canopy Tours then you can camp there or hit Tacoa Falls nearby or head into Helen. Its a fantastic weekend. And less than an hour from my house (Gwinnett).

North Georgia Canopy Tours in Lula GA. – Our family of 6 has had their best GA memories zipping through the treetops at North Georgia Canopy Tours in Lula GA. The kids LOVED every line and even though I’m afriad of heights, I relished every flight (feeling very secure with multiple tethers).

We love Historic Banning Mills!! It’s location is perfect..just outside of Atlanta (Carrol County) but absolutely a WORLD away! This place has all the ammenities of the best bed and breakfast you’ve ever visited and the breathtaking scenery rivals anything you will find anywhere in the North Georgia Mountains! Historic Banning Mills !! So much to see and do, the staff is frindly the food is excellent. Avoid the traffic and land your chopper on the grounds. A very nice visit indeed. AAA+
