Waffle House is your pick for the best hangover breakfast. After all, they're slinging those hash brown 24/7 and there seems to be one on every corner.

YOUR PICKS

1) Waffle House

You say, “It’s a combination of greasy food, cheap eats, close proximity to whereever I crashed and lack of required dress attire. …  I swear, there’s a Waffle House every other intersection in the South, so there’s always one close by.”

2) Flying Biscuit Cafe

3) The Majestic Diner

4) Marietta Diner (tie)

4) The EARL (tie)

OUR PICKS

1. Fado Irish Pub

Food and beverage writer Bob Townsend says, “As a hangover cure, the traditional Irish breakfast — a groaning mass of eggs, Irish sausages and bacon, black pudding, white pudding, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms and bread — has its own decadent appeal. That’s particularly true when it’s served up with a pint. At Fado, all that can be had day or night.”

2. The Original Pancake House

3. Majestic Diner

4. Waffle House

5. R. Thomas Deluxe Grill

Definitely Waffle House- scattered, smothered and covered with a pork chop on the side! The Marietta Diner is a good alternative.

Tom … finally someone who feels like I do about Hurling Biscuit. Try ordering a Hamburger there and the help will look at you with content in their eyes. I don’t want Turkey burgers or bacon …. NASTY!! Pretty much a grease pit. Won’t see me there!

The Biscuits, Eggs, and Gravy at The Flying Biscuit! That does the trick for sure. Oh, and the coffee they use is strong and delicious. I am heading to the Sandy Springs cafe now! :)

Wow, Stoopid, did you loose any teeth from that 180 you did when you went from judgmental fundamentalist guy to reflective, self loathing guy?
Also, Waffle house green eggs and ham, Majestic liver and onions (seriously), biscuits and red eye gravy anywhere within crawling distance, must have a Mexican coke, hard to find, plan ahead. Cracker Barrel chicken fried steak with gravy, your choice of vegetables. And of course, room service.

Jalanie, the Biscuit is probably the least on the grease of all these places? I just have to question intentions of someone that can’t list their favorite, but knocks the favorites of others. That said, I agree with Elton J and say I am heading to the Flying Biscuit to make this hangover go away. Don’t hate.
