FRIDAY, JUNE 4

Festival: The Georgia Renaissance Festival is in its final weekend in Fairburn.

Festival: Atlanta Tattoo Arts Festival brings its 14th annual event to the Crowne Plaza Hotel Atlanta Perimeter, Atlanta, Friday through Sunday.

Movies: Return to the ’80s with a John Hughes Double-Feature: “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and “The Breakfast Club” at 7:30 p.m. at the Fox Theatre, Atlanta.

Movies: Sing Along with “Mamma Mia!” at 7 p.m. at the Earl Smith Strand Theatre, Marietta.

Music: Supreme Motown diva Diana Ross performs her hits at 8 p.m.at Chastain Park Amphitheater, Atlanta.

For families: “Stellaluna” is having trouble adapting in this tale from Tears of Joy Theatre of Portland, Ore. This is the show’s final weekend at the Center for Puppetry Arts, Atlanta.

Festival: Douglasville blooms at the Penny McHenry Hydrangea Festival. The festival gets under way in downtown Douglasville with a garden party at 8 p.m. Friday and continues through Sunday.

SATURDAY, JUNE 5

Music: The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra offers the world premieres of works by Michael Gandolfi and Jennifer Higdon at 8 p.m. at Atlanta Symphony Hall, Atlanta.

Festival: Artlantis: Atlanta’s Arts and Music Festival is at 10 a.m. at  Druid Hills Baptist Church, Atlanta.

Festival: Virginia-Highland Summerfest 2010 returns for its 27th year. 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday at Virginia Avenue between North Highland Avenue and Park Drive, Atlanta.

For families: Test your fitness at the Sweetwater Triathlon and 5KFun Run at 7 a.m. Sweetwater Creek State Park,  Lithia Springs.

For families: Barkstock promises lots of fun for pet owners and their four-legged best friends. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Lodge at Simpsonwood, Norcross.

Festival: 4th Annual Taste Of Latin Atlanta Festival is the perfect way to sample some great local food. Noon-4 p.m. at Blackburn Park, Atlanta.

Sports: Gwinnett Braves vs. Charlotte Knights is at 2:05 p.m. at Gwinnett Braves Stadium,  Lawrenceville.
