You say, “The best wings I have had in Atlanta are at Fox Brothers, which surprised me cause they don’t offer the standard wing, but the wing they do offer is leaps and bounds over the other wings in town. So much flavor! I love that they make their own wing sauce, which I use at home cause they sell it at Whole Foods!”

Food and beverage writer Bob Townsend says, “Texas twins Jonathan and Justin Fox make heaps of smoky, spicy barbecue — including dry-rubbed  brisket, tender-tasty pulled pork and meaty ribs. But the hefty hickory-smoked jumbo chicken wings, tossed in their tasty-hot homemade wing sauce, are something like a secret weapon. Just be prepared to feel the burn.”

Taco Mac might have the best wings in the southeast. There is no question they are the best in Atlanta.

A-Town wings on Cleveland Ave is the bomb! Great selections. The Lemon Pepper wings extra crispy is very satisfying and the price is not bad either.

LT WING’S They have CAJUN LEMON PEPPER! Their wings are delicious no matter what flavor you choose and I don’t mind driving the 20mins to them… They’re conveniently located just 2-3 blocks off of 285 (Cascade Rd exit) headed OTP/West of the exit…off the intersection of Fairburn Rd and Cascade Rd!

The Local on Ponce by long shot has the best wings I’ve had around town. The meat just melts off the bone. Clay’s in Sandy Springs is good. Taco Mac’s wings are just horrible. I hear Fox Bros BBQ has amazing wings, but I haven’t tried those yet.

Taco Mac and 3$ serve thoroughly mediocre wings. Best Wings in Atl are:

Flat Iron (East Atlanta)
Righteous Room (Poncey Highlands)
97 Estoria (Cabbagetown

If you think Taco Mac and $3 are great, you must try these places. In particular, the Flat Iron. Wings are huge, sauce is perfect and fried to perfection.

Wing Factory has some great flavors (hot ranch & their lemon pepper) but i stopped going a few years back when the started using a smaller wing.

Taco Mac is the best in terms of Sit Down Chain Restarants. They have very good quality for as large and as busy as they are. I don’t like the charging for the blue cheese and chips/salsa though. That’s dumb.

American Deli is very good for grab and go (The one on Caroline St in the Edgewood Retail District is fast and fantastic) Zaxby’s is terrible. They are better at Chicken Strips than wings

Derby is good, but overrated. $3 and Crickets used to be my favorites. I didn’t realize $3 was still around. I watched many a Falcons game back in the day having Crickets wings and fries with my pop.

Smoked Wings… I’ve had the Local and Fox Bros. Speedi Pig in Fayetteville has them beat by a mile. Their marrinade is something else. Best chicken wings I’ve ever had.

That’s a toss-up between Taco Mac or Clay’s in Sandy Springs. I love the intense, wet, vinegary taste of Mac wings. Taco Mac in the Prado is the best location.
