You say, “The best wings I have had in Atlanta are at Fox Brothers, which surprised me cause they don’t offer the standard wing, but the wing they do offer is leaps and bounds over the other wings in town. So much flavor! I love that they make their own wing sauce, which I use at home cause they sell it at Whole Foods!”

Food and beverage writer Bob Townsend says, “Texas twins Jonathan and Justin Fox make heaps of smoky, spicy barbecue — including dry-rubbed  brisket, tender-tasty pulled pork and meaty ribs. But the hefty hickory-smoked jumbo chicken wings, tossed in their tasty-hot homemade wing sauce, are something like a secret weapon. Just be prepared to feel the burn.”

As much as I dislike the direction that the rest of the restaurant has taken over the last few years, the wings at Ribs Etc. in Buckhead are pretty stellar. You have to ask for them “on the grill”…they basically char the deep fried wings on the grill before serving. Definitely the best thing on their menu.

I’m from Buffalo and I’ve not found anyone’s wings that come close to touching the hometown specials except the ones that I cook at home. Deep fry the wings, melt a stick of unsalted butter, not margarine, in a pan and pour in the Franks Red Hot sauce to taste. Drop the cooked wings in the pan of butter and hot sauce – swish around to coat, put on a plate and serve.

People it is as simple as that.

Who has the best BONE-IN Wings in Atlanta?

Who has the best BONELESS Wings in Atlanta?

Why do I always have to make sure a place offers BONELESS Wings as well whenever I take my girlfriend with me for a nice wing dinner?

Summit’s Wayside Tavern. I live right around the corner from Wild wing in Marietta and they are over priced and overrated. My friends all love Wild Wing, but I don’t get it. There are 10 places in Marietta with better wings.

I thought Taco Mac’s were the best around until I tried North River Tavern in Sandy Springs. Also for delivery you can’t beat Burger Win in East Atlanta.

Mo-Joes (not Moes and Joes) and it’s not even close. There are locations in Forest Park, Morrow, and Rex.

When I was at Ga Tech I would regularly make the 30 minute drive just for Mo-Joes.

For those of you who are Goodie Mob fans, go back and listen to the song “Soul Food” – Gipp gives Mo-Joes’ wings a shout out in his verse.

I’m from Buffalo and looked long and hard for a wing that tastes like wings from back home. I finally found them: St. Angelo’s in Vinings and Bella’s in Smyrna. Both are fantastic. The St Angelos guy are from Buffalo and, I’m guessing, were able to grab the recipe from one of the best places back home. PW, try St Angelos. You’ll have visions of Duffs and Anchor bar as you’re finishing off your tub of blue cheese!
