The bartender at Woodfire made a drink for me on Friday that he coined a Sweet and Happy. It is Peach Schnapps, Vodka, Lemon Juice and Simple Syrup. Very light and sweet and is my new favorite drink. I think they added it to the menu!

I once had a drink made by a Bartender at Smokey Bones BBQ — he called it a “Crack Ho”….
it was Chambord,Vodka,Jack Daniels, Crown Royal, Fruit Punch and a spritz of sprite…. Despite the crazy name… It was really good!

Barbecue screwdriver at Daddy’s house. Orange juice, Vinegar based BBQ sauce, vodka. If you don’t mix it just perfect it is dangerous, but if you do: delicious.

The Michellada (I think that’s how it’s spelled) at La Parilla in Alpharetta. It’s not on the menu but ask for it instead of a Bloody Mary. It’s Clamato, juice from half a lime, worcestershire sauce, hot sauce & pepper over ice in a large mug filled half way with Corona & half with the other stuff. Dee-lish!

Resurgens at HF. Peach infused rye and bitters. Inspired by, and dediacated, the ATL, fittingly imbibed halfway b/w Midtown and Buckhead, in the pulsing center of ATL’s cultural and commerical resurgence, and just a half mile north of the battleground of the Battle of Peachtree Creek, where the old greys pitched their last great defense of the city.
