YOUR PICKS
You say, “Before Sandy Springs became a city, ‘The Festival’ was the one thing that unified our community. Whether one is young or old, it is the best place to see neighbors and friends, grab something to eat, and enjoy the fall weather. I always enjoy the heritage demonstrations, such as sheep shearing and blacksmithing, as well as the variety of crafters and food vendors. ”
OUR PICKS
You say, “Nothing says spring to Atlantans quite like blooming dogwood trees and this annual celebration of those blooms really does have something for everyone. Visitors to the festival get great music, a wide variety of arts and crafts, tasty food and, best of all, a stroll through Piedmont Park in spring.”

The Dogwood rates the HIGHest with me, the 2004 fest was the best one of em all. The one at Lenox being the worst, dont it always go to show that if it aint broke dont fix it. Never take it out of Piedmont again!

Went to Taste of West Cobb last year. Food was great and wide variety of choices to choose from. Tickets were $1 and most vendors charged 2-4 tickets but portions were very large, not the tiny taste portions I’ve seen at other events. Great event!

The Atlanta BBQ Festival is newer than some, but is already the greatest festival in Atlanta , , maybe the whole Southeast. It will be bigger and better than anything else that has been mentioned….

Funny to see all the festival promoters pushing their festival.
Why not take a look at the crowds to tell you what the good festivals are.
Taste of West Cobb, Marietta Greek Festival and Sandy Springs festival combined are no where in the same league as 420 Fest, Candler Park Festival, Inman Park Festival, Dogwood Festival & Va. Highland

Hotoberfest in Glenwood Park the first weekend of October has been the BEST festival I have attended in Atlanta. The park is gorgeous, great music and beer, eco inspired artists, and spreading the word about sustainability on all levels. HOTOBERFEST ROCKS!

Sandy Springs Festival is the best!!! I have been going to the festival since I was a little girl. My favorite part of the show is the Artist Market- you can always count on finding handcrafted, original fine craft and fine art. The Sandy Springs Festival is a great place to take your whole family- something for everyone to do. Also, the volunteer staff is wonderful and very helpful.

The Sandy Springs Festival the end of September…2-days of shopping (arts and crafts, jewelry, food items, clothes, outdoor art, etc.), awesome bands performing all day, great children’s area, hubby’s getaway at the antique car show, delicious festival food, a special georgia made and georgia grown area, a Silent Auction with GREAT deals on gift certificates, items, and trips…seriously, what doesn’t the Sandy Springs Festival have?!?
Oh, and best part–dogs are welcomed to attend (one of the few festivals that allow) and they even have a special pet parade Saturday morning with prizes!
Don’t miss it this year: September 25th and 26th. I hear they are celebrating their 25th anniversary…I bet they go all out this year. Oh and tickets are only like $5 for one-day or $7 for a two-day pass for an adult…I can’t even go see a movie for $5! And kids are just $2 with under 5 years free.
