By far the best is Kendra Roseberry at Shine Salon & Spa in Castleberry Hills on Peters St. And Casey does an excellent job with the MINX nails. Love the place and the people.

Snez is the very best…I first saw her at a salon in Decatur. She went out on her own several years ago. She has never failed to give me a great cut and style. I have difficult hair (some waves, some straight) and I have never found anyone else who paid such close attention and gave me a flattering, easy to keep style. After years of getting her hair cut at trendy salons, then coming home and complaining, my 19 year old daughter finally came to Snez 2 years ago…and only once went somewhere else…she wound up asking Snez to fix it (which she did)!

The best salon in the “A” Shine Salon & Spa @ 185 Peters Street SW. They are fab with natural hair and all other hair types. All stylist there are suberb! You can’t go wrong.

I’ve been to a *lot* of hair salons in Atlanta and I would rate Vivid on North Highland for best affordable salon (and you can walk across the street to Alons afterwards) and James Madison Salon on Peachtree for salon where every single stylist is very good (most salons have some good/some bad but i’ve never gone wrong there….)

Helmet Midtown – Erika specifically for great curly cuts. I’ve been to some high end salons with tons of attitude. No thanks! I always walk out of Helmet relaxed and looking great.

Chris I agree with you, Claibornes staff is warm, friendly and welcoming. Me and a friend had a pamper day and didn’t expect a lot as far as hair, because I have curly difficult hair and Chrissy did a fabulous job, and my girlfriend had chandler do a haircut and a beautiful,elegant updo. Julie did a fabulous no rush massage and the makeup artist Donna was outstanding. We looked and felt like a million bucks. If I lived here I would give all my friends a gift certificate for Christmas.

Lava Hair Studio in Dawsonville. The owner Karen Covington does my hair and is wonderful but all the stylists are good. The salon also gives lots of support to the community from styling at the senior center to styles for the high school prom fashion show.

Great cuts and great value. I followed my stylist there but then got my wife and children to go there as well. As for my wife they treat her better, cut and color her hair better and charge less than the place in Buckhead she used previously

Toni and Guy Salon at Town Center Mall. My wife and I have been seeing Steven and we absolutely love going there. He’s usually pretty busy but he has great attention to detail and if there is a problem he corrects it immediately. He also makes you feel at ease when you are there. He’s also very funny. I can speak for my wife in that if he ever left we would follow him where ever he goes.
