1) Charm Home
You say, “Atlanta interior designer Cristi Holcombe has a come up with a terrific blog. It gives you great ideas – both small and large. Really, from just sprucing up an area, to ideas/concepts for an entire house.”
4) You Are What You Eat…or Reheat
We say, “This might be subtitled ‘tales from the frontlines of food,’ but food stylist Tami Hardeman’s blog has more heart, soul and personality than your average food blog.”

I think we should exclude AJC bloggers. They are reporters who happen to post on a blog. We should focus on true local bloggers who started out of interest in their subject matter, not because their editor told them they had to post articles on a blog website.

He writes of his journey through weight loss surgery – his emotional, social and health problems involved with being overweight, the difficulty of preparing for the surgery in all of those areas and his post surgery triumphs. No doubt in my mind. Rodney Ho (American Idol Buzz and Radio and TV) Rodney keeps us up on all things Idol, gets great interviews and probably has more “hits” during Idol season than most other bloggers. Live blogging during the show has become a must for Idol fans in Atlanta and across the country.

Re the Decatur blogs:
1. DecaturMetro is not really “written” in a narrative or journalistic sense. Most of the posts are re-blogged news or community items culled from city or business press releases. The comments/discussion on the blog is excellent (and the best reason to read it), but DM’s actual writing is ordinary, run-of-the-mill prose. It’s not well written in any other sense (ie, not terribly insightful or humorous).
2. InDecatur is more active. InDecatur also has more photos. I would say the same thing about the writing quality, etc. No huge insights or scoops, but lots of community information.
3. Runningwithtweezers is an excellent Decatur blog. It’s more of a food/lifestyle diary, but excellent.
Overall, Decatur is lucky to have these 3 blogs!
