The Singin’ Bean in Lawrenceville is definitely the place to go for a cuppa

Great atmosphere, great coffee, great food, too. I write a lot of my book chapters there with a steaming hot brew.

Agree with comment below – Anyone that serves Batdorf and Bronson (Dancing Goats is also their brand) It is roasted locally (and in Washington) and is excellent coffee!
I get it at Belly in the highlands

Since I can’t stand the taste or smell of coffee but need caffeine, I recommend Jet-Alert tablets: 200 mg tablets X 90 for $3.99. Beats No-Doz and Vivarin by a mile.

If you have to have coffee for the caffeine, WH still makes the best for the caffeine/ounce.

Honestly, anyone who drinks coffee for the taste really has no taste.

For a fast food place I have to say that Burger King has a really good cup of coffee. If it’s fresh of course. I know it’s not the same as the high end shops but they aren’t always around.

When you are out go with anywhere that serves Counter Culture.

For coffee at home don’t underestimate the importance of fresh beans and good water.

I live behind Land of A Thousand Hills in Roswell and can assure you that all the beans are roasted on the premise. The historic old house was renovated beautifully and a large stone patio was built. Live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Very good coffee and they are very involved in the community and in Rwanda. Everyone’s a winner at this place.

Isn’t it nice that we can get such great coffee in this city? And so many choices – not just QT, Dunkin Donuts and Starbuck’s.

I’ll support any and all the locally owned and operated places as long as they aren’t serving swill.

In no particular order –
Anyplace serving Counter Culture coffee
Anyplace serving Batdorf & Bronson coffee
Anyplace serving J Martinez coffee
***New Favorite – La Columbe out of Philly – some say best coffee in Eastern US *** – don’t know if anyone locally serves it
Anyplace doing in-house roasting (1000 Hills, Java Vino, etc)

And if up to it – get a variety of green coffee beans, a Behmoor 1600, a decent burr grinder and expresso machine and taste the wonders of freshly roasted beans at home!

I had never heard of Bartdorf & Bronson but was eager to try the “Dancing Goats” blend–lucky me, when I stopped by our new market, Savi Urban Market in Inman Park, they were serving “Dancing Goats”–it was wonderful and so was the Sumatra that I tried this morning!!!! My vote definitely goes to a cup of Bartdorf & Bronson from Savi!!!!
