I had to admit, .. I like Starbucks. I like rich coffee with cream only. Their coffee satisfies.

Dekalb Farmers Market or Trader Joes for beans.
Octane for a good French Press or cappuccino. Prefer Dunkin’ Donuts over Starbuck’s for coffee to go…

I’ll vote for Dancing Goats too. They have the most distinctive coffees I’ve had anywhere.

The coffeee machine at my office serves up a killer cup — piping hot. Add some extra sugar and a bunch of powdered creamer and you’ve got the world’s best cup.

Land of 1000 Hills (www.drinkcoffeedogoodroswell.com) serves the best cup around. They roast their beans on site, and brew only with a French press or artisan drip. Monday – Friday from 6-10am, a cup of coffee is just $1. Like all good things, you have to make an effort to go there, but it truly is worth it.

If you must have “corporate coffee”, Caribou is the best. Too bad they couldn’t survive in a Starbucks-infested Atlanta

1: Buckhead Bread Company – Corner Cafe (Roasted by J. Martinez) The Best
.
2. Java Vino (Across from Manuels Tavern)
.
3. Starbucks. Their coffee may be only “good” compared to BBC and JV, but the staff and shops are great) I like the L5Points store.
.
4 McDonalds (Really- This is based on a very limited recent samples- but it is now my road trip choice when out of town) I’ve had two surprisingly good cups at McDonalds recently.

I don’t like Dekalb “farmer’s” market coffee at all – bad roast.

My favorite is some Peet’s or Intelligentsia at home through a press or Rev.

The Singing Bean in Lawrenceville has the best coffees, both hot and cold of anywhere. It’s open for breakfast and lunch and then on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights where you can have your coffee and karaoke, too! What a great combintation! Caffeine and entertainment!

The Singing Bean in Lawrenceville has the best coffee, hot or cold, in metro Atlanta. They are open for both breakfast and lunch as well as on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights. During those evening hours you can enjoy a great cup of coffee, have a wonderful light dinner, eat some incredible home-made desserts and enjoy the karaoke in the back room. Where else in the ATL can you have your coffee and karaoke, too?

Outwrite Bookstore (at 10th x Piedmont). I don’t know what kinda coffee they use, but it beats the heck outta both the Caribou and Flying Bisquit across the street. They also have a daily trivia question for a free cup.

Where you can Have your Karaoke and Coffee Too. The Singin’ Bean Coffeehouse in Historic Lawrenceville has the freshest cup of coffee espresso’s and lattes. The beans are Roasted Fresh from Viazza Coffee often times the bag is delivered the bags are still warm. The key to a great cup of joe is the freshness of the cup.
