You say, “I love Atlanta Fish Market, the menu is really simple and really relies on the freshest fish.”

OUR PICKS
1) C & S Seafood and Oyster Bar
Dining critic Meridith Ford Goldman says, “For a landlocked city like Atlanta, a classic fish house is a refreshing change from the usual steak-and-sushi gig, and C & S proves its mettle when it comes to making simple preparations — broiled or chargrilled fish, elegant but simply prepared with sides of roasted fingerling potatoes and haricot verts — into big, bold plates of beauty.”

Chequers is the best considering quality and price.
A Red Lobster on every corner? Not one close to Sandy Springs.
Tybee Island in 3 hours? Gosh that is 250+ miles.

The new picture that is posted today of the seafood, what restaurants is that for. That looks good, I’m from Savannah, GA so I really haven’t found any seafood to die for here in Atlanta, and I LOVE seafood

Oceannaire has the best customer service of any restaurant I have ever been to, but if you want the best seafood, I would suggest Atlanta Fish Market and Legal Seafood.

My list would have to be in this order;
1) Oceanaire – Fresh seafood is always the best
2) Legal Seafood – Lobster 2nd to none
3) McCormick & Schmidt – Large selection different dishes
4) Pappadeaux – Different takes on creole classics
5) Spondivits – Buckets of joy
Honorable mention would be Atlanta Fish Market, best I ever had in Atlanta the Old Boston Seafood party in Roswell & Fontaines VA Highlands

Georgia Shrimp Company in Peachtree City. Just moved to Peachtree city and now we do not have to go to Atlanta to get great seafood, right in our own backyard.

The grouper at Pasta Vino is my favorite dish in Atlanta.
I ate at Legal Sea Food and agree with the Red Lobster comparison!

I am the second generation who has patronized the SouthSide Seafood Company in Lake City. THE BEST seafood on the southside of Atlanta. The best vaulue for your dollar. When I have big get-togethers at my home, I get my oysters, Maine lobster salad and shrimp platters from Southside. Oh yea, dont forget to get you a homemade Peach Pie. Better than the Varsity!

Legal Seafood. Fish Market is too noisy and everything in Papa Deux is fried or has tons of salt on it.

C & S Seafood & Oyster Bar is tremendous. Probably the best in Atlanta. I have had good meals at Atlanta Fish Market and Oceanaire but hate the atmosphere in both. Too big, too loud and too full of themselves.
For casual and fried Six Feet Under (Grant Park location) and Pappadeaux have been good though I haven’t been to either in about 2 years.
