Holly’s Cupcakes in Conyers! Yuuuuuuummmmmy! The Red Velvet is fabulous! I have tried at least 6 different flavors and absolutely LOVE all of them!

I live east of Atlanta and the best cupcakes I’ve had (besides my mother’s, of course) were from Holly’s Cupcake Shop in Conyers (on 138). I don’t think I’ll ever sell my house unless I can find another neighborhood with a Holly’s nearby. That’s just how much I love this place.

Cafe Aromas in downtown Lawrenceville has the best strawberry cupcakes EVER!!! They are made with fresh strawberries! And they are HUGE!! I usually split them (when I’m trying not to be greedy). Holly’s Cupcakes Shop in Conyers. My kids absolutely LOVE the chocolate, the vanilla and the red velvet cupcakes. The Chocolate Mint is also very delicious.

Incredible Southern Poundcakes is a place you must go to when you are in the Stockbridge area. We never miss a chance to stop in and pick up a dozen “tin cups” on our way to Florida. You can also order gifts from them to send to family and friends at http://www.southernpoundcakes.com – nothing says it better than their yummy poundcakes and cupcakes.

My personal favorite is Sugar Kneads in Loganville. I live towards Athens but drive to Loganville to get their cupcakes and other yummy deserts. Game day party last weekend wouldn’t have been the same w/o their sweets. Beer & wings for the guys and red velvet cupcakes for everyone else! Enjoy!

Incredible Southernpoundcakes in Stockbridge has the best cupcakes!
I had the “Tin Cups” made for a baby shower—vanilla and chocolate with custom designed butterflies on top–. They were beautiful and delicious. The chocolates ones are the best of the best!

I agree–Incredible Southernpoundcakes has the best poundcake cupcakes as well as traditional ones in the area! They can be customized and her pastry chef is super talented! Kathy, the owner, is so friendly and makes you feel welcome the moment you enter the bakery in Stockbridge. Can’t wait until they open the new location at Old Town Morrow!!

Matty Cakes!! Red Velvet and Chocolate with Butter-cream are my favorites, but they are all great … and, I think, more bang for your buck too … Matty’s cupcakes are larger than most places I’ve tried but cost the same, if not less (and who isn’t looking for a deal in this economy)

Cheezecakes gourmet cupcakes are to die for!!! The most amazing cupcakes ever. The texture is a creamy sensation, not like the average snack. It’s a rich blast of flavor. Best described as an taste-gasm!! You have to try them. I’ve NEVER been disappointed by any of the flavors. My personal favorites are butterscotch, red velvet and the new key lime!! If you are lucky to get your hands on one consider yourself blessed!!!

My favorite place for cupcakes is Holly’s Cupcake Shop in Conyers. The owner works there and is the sweetest (no pun intended) person. They offer a large variety of flavors. You should try the Brownie, Red Velvet or Michele’s Mint cupcakes. They are to die for!

The cupcakes from Sassy Girl Pies are the best I have ever tasted in my life and I have eaten them all over the world. I particularly like the Red Velvet cupcakes they make, however all flavors and varieties are fabulous! They are a small bakery just starting out, but they are definitely on the right track.
