Best milkshake in and around Atlanta

YOUR PICKS

Chick-fil-A's hand-spun shakes

Chick-fil-A's hand-spun shakes

1) Chick-fil-A

You said, “None of the fancy places can touch their shakes!”

2) Steak and Shake

3) Flip Burger Boutique

4) Zesto

5) OK Café

OUR PICKS

1) Rita’s

Dining critic Meridith Ford Goldman says, “The power-packed punch of mango ice with vanilla custard from this Philly-based chain (I like mine better without the cookies) will elevate your mood so much that you’re bound to burn some extra calories just by drinking it.”

2) 10 Degrees South’s “Don Pedro”

3) The Varsity’s F.O. (frosted orange)

4) Flip Burger Boutique

Krispy Kreme is overrated. Go for the pistachio.

5) Dairy Queen

Specifically, the “banana cream pie dream pie” Blizzard

No wonder we’re all fat with health problems. Do you people ever branch out and NOT try fast food chains? Their food is processed, full of chemicals, and crap. Try the local shops who use real food, real ingredients. Good grief, people…you need to get out more.
Chik Filet has a good milk shake, but good God, branch out and try something real.

FLIP Burger’s Nutella/Burnt Marshmallow is incredible but Chick-fil-a’s shakes are still the best: Vanilla, Cookies N’ Cream or Peaches N’Cream. Delicious!

I think the paper should put a moratorium on including corporate chains in the running for these “best of” titles. I mean, how can something be the best of anything if you can also find it in every other state in the country?

Get out of the strip mall, people. That crap is not food.

To all that are complaning about people picking chains..Get over it..No one said that they eat there all of the time..I don’t drink a lot of milkshakes, hence my reason for picking Steak n Shake..

Might have to find Flip though and try one of their shakes..

No milkshakes in Atlanta hold a candle to the best milkshakes of Italy. The closest I have tried would be on the Burger King value meal.
