I live in Newnan and cant stand the Newnan one because you get all the local reps up there jabbing on holding up the Show. There's live music, we get food at one of the fabulous restaurants, and the crowd is big, but friendly. They have two newly renovated parks this year, too -- the huge new playground at Thrasher Park, and a beautiful new space with waterfalls and walking trail at Lillian Webb Park. Even if you aren't at the races, folks pull over on the side of Hwy53 and watch from vantage points along the road. The display usually goes on for 20+mins with some great effects.
