Like you, I’m thankful for a lot of things today.
I’m thankful for my family, who understood that we would never live a “normal” life because of this crazy profession I’ve chosen.
I’m thankful to be making a living doing something I truly love because I see so many people doing things they don’t love.
I’m thankful that Furman Bisher is still writing his “I’m Thankful” columns. I hope he goes on for another 90 years.
And I’m thankful for all of you. We may disagree and I know there are times when you think I’ve lost my mind. But I tell my friends in the business that while I sometimes disagree with the folks who read and respond in this space, you are the most knowledgeable, passionate group of college football fans on the planet.
And for that I will always be thankful.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families.

Thankful for Tony, his writings and thoughts with regards to College Football. Yeah, we here in the southland think football is a southern thing,, a culture only understandable by a southeastern US type of people,, guess what,, it is. So, thanks Tony. You might go hungry living and trying to make a living in some other region of the USA.

Jake,
“we here in the southland” So do you live closer to the 110, the 5 or the dreaded 405? No, well then maybe the 710 or the 605? See we here in SoCal call this the “Southland” though I “guess” y’all can call where you live that too. (LOL)
Tony,
I am thankful for three healthy if not always “happy” teenagers and I am thankful to have a career that I too love and have much passion for. I am thankful that our country is safe (for the most part) and that we haven’t had another terrible repeat/day like 9/11. And I am thankful for a site like this that allows those of us that are passionate about collge football (USC Rocks!!) to carry on and exchange differing viewpoints.
A very Happy Thanksgiving too you and your family and to all the friends and families throughout the “Southland” whether you be ACC or SEC or PAC 10!!!
Fight On!!!

Woe, Georgia has a LOT to be thankful for with FINALLY playing a weaker team than Tenn Tech!!
Dwyer got 7 yards on 5 carries against Miami.
The QB had 28 on 14 carries.
Powerful running game there, that triple option. Ha!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and we should all be thankful to live in a country where we can watch college football while others are off in foreign lands allowing us that freedom.
Go to http://isportsweb for a piece on Paul Johnson as he gets the Yellow Jackets ready for some clean old fashioned hate against UGA on Saturday, THWG!

Carrol 6 loss
Stoops 6-5 in 2009
Paterno 3-9, 4-7 2003-2004
Patterson 6-6. 5-6 in 2004
Who cares if they’re all in top 10 winningest % of all-time, they obviously can’t coach college football.
Send them to the gallows and off with their heads.

Tony, I am thankful you enjoy writing about the Georgia Bulldogs! Please keep up the good work, as the Bulldogs are not receiving enough love from the other AJC writers. I have no doubt that should Georgia win Saturday, every other AJC writer will try to jump back on the UGA band wagon again. Thanks for being objective, and keeping a positive attitude.
